Yes, he beefed up police and education while holding the growth of government spending below the rate of inflation!

NYkers want a choice between a simulated Hilary Clinton in the form of Rudy Guiliani and the real Hilary Clinton.

Their opinions are essentially that of lawyers with left of center views.

In is a no lose proposition for the NYC elitists.

He also reduced the urine smell in the streets by 50%.

"growth of government spending below the rate of inflation"
Spending kept going up, and continues to go up. The 'pubs have lost their way and worshipping Rudy! won't change that

National Review as a whole is plumping it up for Rudy pretty well.

There was also a time when they were plumping it up pretty well for Ronaldus Magnus, too.

I wont vote for Rudy under ANY circumstances. If the Republican party wants my vote, they had better nominate someone who is both fiscally and socially a conservative.

Hate Rudy if you want on social issues but his financial record looks interesting.

Fiscal conservatism matters too!

Yes, it does, and I've said it before. The decline of fiscal conservatism among the powers in the GOP is the exact reason we're seeing this "split" forming between the social conservatives and fiscals. We need both parts to be successful, but too many Republicans think that as long as they're pro-life, it's OK to be a Socialist money-grabbing bastard on other issues. It's not.

The republican party nominates the one who won the most primaries and corresponding delegates. If you don't want to vote Rudy then that's your choice but if he's the guy then it's that more people wanted him versus the other candidates.

You are correct sir.

Rudy has issues with the 2nd amendment though and while I understand that gun control is a hot issue with NYC he had better be willing to allow full exercise of the 2nd Ammendment or he can piss off. That said, people should understand that being a politician is different than being an issue(s) guy. Politicans try to win votes and issues people push their cause.

Different animals....

LOL. Impressive, real-life statistics and accomplishments mean nothing, but wacky Internet picture captions ... THAT says it all!

Well, that's a politically astute argument. < /s>BTW, Why the hell aren't you in the Right TO Life party and wasting your time in the real world?
