Reminds me of a fascinating quote from a Chinese Com government during the "International Woman's Conference" held in China during the Clinton administration.
The government official said that they studied Hillary's speechmaking method to understand her power and success. They concluded: her trick was never actually to make any arguments -- just state conclusions that were all already accepted as self-evident by her audience. (They found that interesting and perhaps admirable, and to be emulated).
I am thinking more 'jump the shark' than 'harpoon the shark' ;)

I've never understood why Hillary thought she would waltz to her coronation. Looks like if she gets the nomination she will have to earn it. Then, if she gets the nomination, it will be a tough general election campaign.
Hillary doesn't always tell the whole truth. I saw her interviewed a couple years ago, and the subject of running for president came up. She said she had never thought about running for president as of that time. I can believe she hadn't decided perhaps, but hard to believe that she had never thought of running until so many Dems. told her she is the 2nd coming of Clinton or some such stuff, and only then did she ever think about it. Geez.
I do think she thinks she is Clinton's 2nd coming, because she refers a lot to what happened when Bill was president, and trying to take credit for things that happened then.

I'd say, by itself, it wouldn't end her campaign, but I think it will prove to be the tenor between Hillary and Obama. I expect both to slash and burn any chance either one has by the time people actually start to vote.

Do I think it is the end for Hillary? God, I hope so.
Is it barely a bump in the road? I don't think so. There are many thousands of people in Hollywood behind the scenes who are pressured to vote Democrat to please their bosses. They are a great group of sheeple. Campaign parties to raise money aren't just invites, they are a proclamation to attend and to donate. These thousands have been turned off my the lack of class (we all knew that, didn't we) that Hillary showed when with a large field of Dem candidates trying to dial for the same dollars.
Her nasty outburst shows early and strongly what her real personality is like. Don't we want to see her trying to deal with the eventual death of Castro, which most likely will occur within the next 5 years? She comes off as the Wicked Witch of the East. Instead of being grateful for the millions of dollars of support she and her phony husband have recieved in the past, she displays a behavior that says you MUST declare your devotion to her, also, and you MUST donate even more dollars for her future as "Madame President".

My two cents' worth--and I think it is the two cents' worth of everybody who worked for the Clinton Administration health care reform effort of 1993-1994--is that Hillary Rodham Clinton needs to be kept very far away from the White House for the rest of her life. Heading up health-care reform was the only major administrative job she has ever tried to do. And she was a complete flop at it. She had neither the grasp of policy substance, the managerial skills, nor the political smarts to do the job she was then given. And she wasn't smart enough to realize that she was in over her head and had to get out of the Health Care Czar role quickly.... there is no reason to think that she would be anything but an abysmal president.
