If Arnold Schwarzenegger had been born in Austin instead Austria, he might be president today. President of what?

"If Arnold Schwarzenegger had been born in Austin instead Austria, he might be president today."Under what possible (nightmare) scenario could that have happened?
If he had run in the '03 Presidential election?

"He said he favors redistricting such seats and also said he favors open primaries in every state so that Republicans can vote for Democrats and vice versa."Goofy ideas like this make me thank God the U.S. Constitution is written exactly the way it is!

I don't believe a word Arnold says anymore. He has zero credibility IMO.

Good God! Why doesn't he just call himself a RAT and run? He'd still take CA. He sullies the pubs by running as a pub.

He thinks Democrats should stop criticizing Hillary Clinton for refusing to say she made a mistake by voting for the Iraq war. His wife, Maria Shriver, will absolutely not run for governor of California or any other public officeSo Maria's planning to be Hitlery's press secretary?

I am very glad we have Republican candidates that are very much in the center and can appeal to both Republicans and Democrats, Schwarzenegger said. Then why is it you dont appeal to me among many others, Schwarzenegger?

He said he favors redistricting such seats and also said he favors open primaries in every state so that Republicans can vote for Democrats and vice versa. Yeah, that'll go over big with the Republicans in every liberal states where they are outnumbered 100-1.

I was amazed at the support Arnold was shown on FR during CA recall election.
The blind desire to get a "Republican" in, was ...enlightening.
It makes it clear to see how easily Gigoliani may receive the nomination.../shudder shudder

Supporting abortion and homosexual agenda is not centrism, it's extremism.
I don't buy the Senate talk. He wants to run for the Presidency. I think he wants to create a new political party - he has enough charisma to pull something like that off - attracting the Liebermans, McCains and other gang of 13 types into something new - a "unity party" or something.

You posted the thread, I'm discussing. Ignore if you wish. All it would take is a vote on a bill currently in the Senate. "It won't happen" has been said many times before and remains a flimsy defense.
