Gore still a LOSER? (Vanity)
Aussie Dasher | 26 February 2007 | Aussie Dasher

Well, well...Hollywood says Al Gore is a winner and awards him an Oscar.

I seem to remember not so long along, the American people decided otherwise!

Let's see now, which would Al the Loser have preferred...his Academy Award or the White House?

What do you think, folks?????

Did Gore even get an Oscar of his own? He wasn't one of the producers of the film.

I didn't see "An Inconvenient Truth" and I doubt if I ever will. But if Hollywood wants to reward Al Gore for a documentary that's a hyped-up crock of bad science, illogical conclusions and leftist wishful thinking, so be it.

It's their funeral.

eh.. who cares.

Id rather have Gore with an Oscar, than Gore with an Oval office.

The more time he spends hanging out in hollweird, the less time he spends trying to ruin America from DC.

I'm betting he'd have preferred the WH, but he did get to dress his porky self up and stand shoulder to shoulder with all the celebs.

He was VP, running for president, which should have given him a huge advantage, but HE COULDN'T EVEN CARRY HIS HOME STATE! That's 'cuz he's a l-o-s-e-r! (And I will never forget what he put this country through with his count and recount and recount again shenanigans.)

Gore didn't win an Oscar, he just went up there with the producers, who DID win. But since it's a filmed Al Gore concert, and he's so beloved by the Hollywoodies...

Gore always stuck me as jealous of Bill Clinton's smarmy ability to charm. It burns him up that he isn't considered fun and likable.

Gore is a bore who would like to be considered a handsome, beloved celebrity. He's a stiff who doesn't seem to realize that if he didn't have some use to them as a spokesbot for their causes, they wouldn't hang out and drink a beer with him. He's the fat kid who's jealous of the popular lech, and always will be.

He was groomed from childhood to be president and all he got was a lousy Oscar...

What do I think? I think Hollywood is full of loosers who do what they do because they are not smart enought to do anything else. That's what I think.

Hey, if Hollyweird wants to give him an award at their annual lovefest then great. I just wonder why he did not boycott the awards, does he not realize that most of these people got there by gass guzzling private jets and limousines? Does he not realize how much energy it takes to power the awards or the congestion it causes in the area?

Not very green Mr. Gore!

And yes he certainly is a Loser.

I saw a programme yesterday with an American chef who is travelling around the world to find the best meals the planet has to offer. He stopped in Southern California yesterday and after having sampled some fish dishes, said he was tempted not to return to New York. Hopefully Gore has sampled (more than a few) dishes along with the adulation, and has succumbed to the temptation.

Regards, Ivan

I saw the Oscars tonight - the Al Gore award was one of the nuttiest things I've ever seen. The guy who directed it grabbed him around the shoulders and stared at the audience, saying "This man has been trying to warn you for ten years!" or some such twaddle.

Then they panned to the crowd and it was like seeing a religious service, people with tears in their eyes and nodding up and down and staring like Gore was God himself. It was really strange.

Earlier my son asked me why they are so nuts on this subject in Hollywood and I told him it was a religion.

I wanted to throw up watching Ethridge sing with words in the backround about taking mass transit and riding bicycles. I doubt anyone of them does. That's for us poor slobs, while they ride around in their jets and SUVs.

Gore is a bore who would like to be considered a handsome, beloved celebrity.

I happened to be present when Gore delivered a commencement address in 2000. I was talking with members from his Secret Service detail (mostly the medical team, the actual security guys weren't too talkative), and the consensus was that while Bill Clinton was likable and friendly, Al was actually even MORE boring than he comes off as in the media.

On an unrelated note, I just saw that The Departed won Best Picture (didn't watch the Oscars myself). Scorsese may be a Democrat and a "Friend of Hillary", but props to him for making a damn good movie.

Must agree...BIG Al should just go off and snuggle with his trophy wife. Nice Gal better than wasted by a Turd.
Used to deliver the local paper to her families oil business.

Bill and Hill can live on the other side of "Lake Long and Gone" ...maybe even create a retired Demom Crat colony...
Still a chance for Chelsea to become a Repub...

Not to worry. Every cloud has a silver lining. Now Hollyweird has set the 'new' Algore in motion to try for the Democratic presidential nomination in earnest. He will be fired up tomorrow. Now Hillary must spend her energies on more fund raising to fight Obama and Gore. Perhaps she may even be obliged to spend some of the Clintons' vast personal fortune seeking the White House.
