Interesting! I have yet to go that way, I am relatively new to AL, moved to Dothan almost 4 yrs ago...love it here!
Weather Channel just confirmed 13 dead in AL
According to those pictures, the dead probably were in the gym. The upper story and roof appear to be a flimsy metal structure, like a shed or mobile home. The rest of the school looks intact.
thanks, Shep had 18 killed in Enterprise alone! I knew that was too high, but sad day for our state!
I've heard news accounts saying the roof in the "third hall" blew off. But I could be wrong.
Ah, that exaggerating Shep. Riley is touring there in the morning.
yes, saw that, and President Bush has spoke with him and the gov of Missouri
dang....the school buses were demolished. No kids on the buses, I hope. Sounds like most were in the halls...
LOL I lived in NV for 45 yrs, these tornadoes have been a shock to my system!
Shep changing his numbers, again. Says it's now too early to say how many deaths.
LOL I just saw that!
I lived in Boulder City for 6 years. Totally different than Texas!
Think that was from an earlier report because 5 have been confirmed killed at Miller's Ferry...I could be wrong, but you know how confusing first reports are!
ahh nice, I was in Las Vegas 45, came here to retire, a change of pace to be sure!
Yes, it seems out of line with what the TV stations are reporting. jwparkerjr's advice about early media reports is well-taken.
Press release news conference coming out of Enterprise now.
watching, thanks!
He just did it again....STFU Shep! Earlier he was chirping that he was confident all the trapped students were safe. He's a worthless drama queen!
LOL I agree! news conference in Enterprise said deaths have not been confirmed!
