If that ain't the truth, then nothing is. Golly, I wonder if the Dim's "
slow bleed" tactics are having an effect on the Moral of the troops? Golly? You think?
This ought to be on Drudge.

That Marine message is right on the button.

I wish America realized this. Shame on the nation. Awful.

Yep. Leadership starts at the top. If the Prez isn't consistently making a strong case here at home, we're in trouble. This war needs to be fought on all fronts, and the home front is being badly neglected.

Ouch, the truth hurts. CNBC is chirping every day about how great it is that The Consumer is spending spending spending.

Other than gas prices in SJ suddenly shooting up like 30c in the past month again, I know of no other "hardships" for the typical non-military American.

Gimme a shortage of cilantro, Persian rugs, green Sharpies, something, throw me a bone here people.

I agreee 100% !. You could put a monkey in Stephen Hawking's chair, and it could communicate better than this president, about the war-it's successes, and improvements in Iraqi life- instead of letting the MSM dictate the perception inside the USA.

This issue and his moronic lack of response to the border issues has me eagerly waiting for his departure. I know he's a good man and all, but my God, has he no perception of perception?

Yes, the "Fourth Estate" has done its best to damage the prosecution of the war. That's why it's so important for the President to fight vigorously to make sure that the truth gets out. By not doing so, he's allowing his enemies to define both him and the war.

This frustrates me beyond belief.

My heart goes out to you. Every time I think of the soldiers in Iraq I pray to God that they don't get the same reception our soldiers received when they arrived home from Vietnam.

The young indoctrinated sculls filled with mush going to the average university will never be taught how our military was spit on upon their return.

Please accept my thanks and appreciation for your patriotism and service to our country.

I remain irritated that the Khmer Rouge and communists killed 4 million people in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam when our soldiers left due to political pressure from the left.

I would like to see if Jon Carry could punctuate that sentence correctly as the poor, uneducated, Marine who had the misfortune of getting stuck in Iraq did.

Long John Kerry probably thinks a semi-colon is what you have after bowel surgery.

You have my thanks and respect. Can I ask you a question? Whenever I see someone with a Vietnam Vet hat or bumber sticker, I always want to go and say I'm sorry for how they were treated and thank them, but I am always afraid they will get upset. Would it bother you if someone came up to you and did that?

It's all too true.

Unfortunately, that's exactly where the Commander in Chief told us to go.

If he had better prepared us for a long but worthwhile struggle at the beginning, Americans wouldn't have turned away from the mission.

By pretending that it would be easy and we wouldn't have to sacrifice, W guaranteed that the American public would lose its nerve when the going got tough.

The True-Americans are at war! FREEPERs are at war.

The silent majority needs to stand up and let the solidiers know we are with them!

It angers me that any soldier would feel hung out to dry regardless of who was 'in power'. I don't need my representative government to convey my appreciation for their courage and honor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
