Despite the fervent interest in the thesis, few realize that it is no longer kept under lock and key. As MSNBC.com found, it is available to anyone who visits the archive room of the prestigious womens college outside Boston. With Clintons opponents in the 2008 presidential race looking for the next Swift Boat attack ad, and the senator herself trying to cast off her liberal image, Clinton's 92-page thesis is certain to be read and reread by opposition researchers and reporters visiting the campus. But can an academic paper from nearly 40 years ago really unlock the politics and character of any former student, much less the early Democratic front-runner for the White House? This is your chance to decide before the political spin machines get their hands on it. snip.. Just last month, an anonymous commentator lamented on the conservative Web site Free Republic, "She's a Marxist. Saul Alinsky's student. I sure wish we could unearth that sealed thesis of hers that she wrote at Wellesley."

Sorry if this is a dupe...I did a search.
LOL! Yes, I am "anonymously" famous.
Good thing, huh? I'd hate to be audited or winde up dead in Ft. Marcy Park....lol.
I have to admit; Alinsky offers food for thought:
"Saul Alinsky's rules of power tactics, excerpted from his 1971 book "Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals"
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
2. Never go outside the experience of your people.
3. Whenever possible go outside the experience of the enemy.
4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.
5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.
6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
8. Keep the pressure on.
9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
10. Maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.
12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."
That Hillary Clinton is a Stalinist should come as no surprise to anyone. What we as the voting public do with that knowledge will be quite revealing, indeed.
We've been clamoring for this for a lonnnnnng time.
Great to see it more available. Thanks tons for your important part.
It's sort of flattering......lol. We really do need to see her thesis --- she's living it but people don't realize what a Maxist she truly is. I cannot begin to fathom her Commander in Chief.
You can see that some of the democrat's most annoying tactics come straight from Alinsky. They are annoying because they are disingenuous, they are drawn from the philosophy that the ends are everything and anything that facilitates advancement toward the goal is good.
Hillary can be beat like an omelet using nothing more than her nationalized health care debacle.
And this suddenly unsealed out-in-the-open `Hillary's college thesis' is the real McCoy, eh?
Genuine, unedited, and undoctored?
I remain skeptical.
Most people are proud of their doctoral dissertations & master's theses. What's Hillary's problem?
Chances are it's an assinine work of third grade level whining. Like all of them, she is fluff... self battered and mutilated mental fluff like all selfloathing liberals.
This is not Alynski's work, this is military guerrilla tactic fed by the Soviet Union through the like of Alynski.
Well, you should atleast put the "black bar" over your eyes on your picture from your homepage. You know how "safe" those make you. ;o)
And an "anonymous" congratulations are in order.
Bill Clinton would have never won if we had been able to read it.

Hey! Stop that!
What I take away from this is that Hillary is partial to charming, charismatic men.
Wow, we were charming and witty back in grade school. I didn't realize that. Wow.
"It's a moronic statement," said Hillary Rodham's thesis adviser, Alan Schechter responding to those who say that a college research paper can reveal a candidate's politics or character.
That depends. If the subject is a conservative candidate for a federal judgeship then anything is fair game -- it's good to see that Chris Lacivita on our side has and will do unto the Rats as they do unto conservative federal judge nominees.
I will protect you.
Ah, you charmer you! My hero!!!!
Welsley is driving distance, but their library is open only during the week.
Remember when The New York Times tried to penetrate the cloak of confidentiality around the adoption records of a certain Supreme Court justice?
Marcy Park, look out! LOL
LOL --- IRS audit --- watch out. Yikes. :0)
"Hillary can be beat like an omelet using nothing more than her nationalized health care debacle."
YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD HERE!!
I also remain quite skeptical.
Why would Hillary's senior thesis be locked away in the first place, and then, why would it be eased into public availability?
I suspect most strongly that some America-hating and subversive text may have been replaced or simply omitted.
I wonder if the archived original would stand up to forensic scrutiny.
If Wellesley were to refuse a request for a forensic analysis for authentication, or if the original turns up somehow "missing", I would not be surprized.
.
"some America-hating or subversive text may have been replaced out or simply omitted."
Times-Roman IBM Selectric superscript, anyone?
Hey, it almost worked for Dan Rather!
The MSNBC piece seems like nothing but a PR campaign for Hillary. Something that someone paid a lot of money for. She'll be beat bad. I almost feel sorry for her. She's like a used up, has been, already.
I fully agree with your posts #14 & 15. Hillary at 22 must have been a real treat - a whiney leftist moron without a resume.
Every Conservative should memorize these rules. Noise promotes, silence is agreement.
Don't worry, we'll make sure that you get a prompt burial, unlike the Godfather of Soul and Ms. Smith. And think about it, you'll go into the history books. See any problems?
Yes, HARXIST as CINC
would only be worsened by her gleefully handing it over to the literal AntiChrist, himself.
Mgist, my FRiend, I wish I shared your optimism that Hillary will be so easily defeated.
Consider a few things in her favor...
1. Media (entertainment (T.V., News, Radio, Music). They will promote Hillary and ridicule the Republican at every turn. You will be literally sickened at all of the poor victims with no health care stories. Consider that they will attempt surely something clever new to convince mid-continent and west-coast "red state" voters that all is lost on election eve, and there is no need for GOPers to go to the polls.
2. Schools (teachers giving oblique voting instructions to students and parents). It's bigger than one might think.
3. Labor Unions driving voters to multiple precincts, assisting illegal and even dead people in registration and voting.
4 And of course, the demographics. Dick Morris (oddly enough) has it exactly right when he says that Hillary will have an especially large lock on the female vote.
5. Hillary will most likely clandestinely sponsor a third party "spoiler" candidate to split the GOP vote. Whomever she chooses, it will seem as if it was a spontaneous independent candidacy, and that she had nothing to do with it. (I believe that John Sidney McCain will run as Hillary's third party spoiler out of spite that we did not nominate him.)
Does this mean that she will win?
Only if we allow ourselves to become either over confident, or if we loose hope and give up. It will take much work to defeat Hillary. We will all need to coalesce around the GOP candidate (even though he or she might not be our choice in the primaries).
Anything less than a maximum effort, and we will have our first Marxist president, and private property will be next politically incorrectness.
Here's Barbara Olson's take on Hillary's thesis, a copy of which was in her possession.
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a38835fe34c9e.htm
I haven't read all the articles or your link, which I've seen before, but what I heard today was that she originally didn't believe in 'big government'.
That her thesis views were anti to Dem agenda! Think I've got that right.
Wonderful post. You sure found one ugly picture of her, lol.
I've said before that she improved with age [ and probably a lot of help] lol.
A little history to go with this thread topic
Note little changed of her deliberate appearance there from then until late 80s
Then she reluctantly changed her appearance and her last name: "Do anything for power!"
But before Saul Alinsky she looked different
Here's the link to the article.

Go to the end of page 3 for the money quote:
"A decade later, another political science major started out on the path that Hillary Rodham had rejected, going to work for a group in the Alinsky mold. That was Barack Obama, now a U.S. senator from Illinois and her leading opponent for the Democratic nomination. After attending Columbia University, he worked as an organizer on the South Side of Chicago for the Developing Communities Project. Obama and others of the post-Alinsky generation described their work in the 1990 book After Alinsky: Community Organizing in Illinois, in which Obama wrote that he longed for ways to close the gap between community organizing and national politics. After three years of organizing, he turned to Harvard Law School and then the Illinois legislature."
There are also some Swift Boat references.
This is Clinton-style innoculation, pure and simple.
Wish we could put on every billboard in the nation.
With radio overriding transmissions for the surrounding 200 feet.
I agree entirely.
And so many sheeple are clueless.

Wonderful post devolve. Quix echoed my statement to you about what a wonderful 'animated' billboard your Hillary graphic would be!
I wonder . . . could we interest enough Hollyweed conservatives--rare enough critters--and enough moneyed people . . .
We hereon could certainly script it . . .
HARXIST'S HIZTORY AND RISE TO POWER . . . a kind of cross between ANIMAL FARM and the celebrations of Stalin's coronation sort of thing . . . then push it past in 4 month jumps about 2-4 year's worth into her tyrannical rule morphing into the AntiChrist's global government and her being amongst the first marched to the guillotine.
Guess All would have caught you but in case,
PING.

But nowhere in her thesis or in her later life does she seem to recognize the classical liberal critique that the relentless pursuit of power is antithetical to democracy.
But the journalist, Dedman, states an opposite conclusion, a more favorable, foresighted Hillary, even quoting from the exhibited document, hinting perhaps that this exhibited document is a rewrite which weaves solutions to critiques into a rewrite (and thats why it is longer than the original 75 pages) in order to make the Rodham rodent more attractive and brilliant in foresight when in actuality hindsight and strategic rewrite addressing decades of critique aims to create a new image for Hillary. But for all the creative lies and fabrications and substitutions, she remains the power crazed socialist she was in 1969.
From Dedmans article:
In the end, she judged that Alinsky's power/conflict model is rendered inapplicable by existing social conflicts overriding national issues such as racial tension and segregation. Alinsky had no success in forming an effective national movement, she said, referring dismissively to the anachronistic nature of small autonomous conflict. Putting Alinsky's Rochester symphony threat (the fart-in) into academic language, Rodham found that the conflict approach to power is limited. Alinsky's conclusion that the ventilation of hostilities is healthy in certain situations is valid, but across-the-board social catharsis cannot be prescribed, she wrote.
Dedman goes on to write of this miraculous exhibit:
In spite of his being featured in the Sunday New York Times," she wrote of Alinsky, "and living a comfortable, expenses-paid life, he considers himself a revolutionary. In a very important way he is. If the ideals Alinsky espouses were actualized, the result would be social revolution. Ironically, this is not a disjunctive projection if considered in the tradition of Western democratic theory. In the first chapter it was pointed out that Alinsky is regarded by many as the proponent of a dangerous socio/political philosophy. As such, he has been feared just as Eugene Debs or Walt Whitman or Martin Luther King has been feared, because each embraced the most radical of political faiths democracy.
Folks, this sanitized, updated, transformed, then exhibited Thesis doesnt sound at all like the same Thesis Barbara Olsen read for her writing of Hell To Pay. I do extensive research for writing books. I understand the process of digging and assimilating, then synthesis and exposition. I trust our precious BKO to have synthesized the truth of Hillary Rodent-rodham over this Clinton servant posting at MSNBC.
Does the following Dedman opine sound like honesty, or sycophancy?
That doesn't mean, said the professor of political science (Alan H. Schschter of Wellesley College), that we won't see an Alinsky-Clinton attack ad. One can envision black-and-white photos of Hillary Clinton and Saul Alinsky, wearing remarkably similar Coke-bottle glasses, while the words scroll by: "radical ... socialist? ... exceptional charm ... sealed in the archives."
But at its heart, her mentor (Schechter) says, the Alinsky-socialist-Rodham connection is a falsehood. "My conclusion, she was already thinking in terms of practical politics, what works, what doesn't, more than on ideology," Schechter said. "She wouldn't have paid any attention to whether Alinsky was a Marxist.
