For 6 mil, I'd let a few thousand of the little bastards bite me.

Agreed!

It happened cause she didn't know the magic phrase: "Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite."

I was bitten twice in a two bit a night hotel in the Atlas mountains after a new Land Rover broke down.
I spent the rest of the night sleeping in a chair!

I got attacked by a bunch of sand fleas in bed in the summer of '04. My legs were a disaster.
Where's my 6 mil?

It was so bad, it took 5 nights for her to escape from the grasp of the bedbugs. The bedbugs brought spiders into the conspiracy in order to tie her to the bed posts.

My one boss is a truck driver, and he stays in some really cheapo motels sometimes. I always wonder how it is that he's never yet encountered those critters.
To: HuntsvilleTxVeteran
That's what got me. Who would sit (or lay) still long enough for that many bites?

experience that left her afraid to sleep in a bed, caused her to lose weight Whoa! You can't be the "fat lady" that sings at the end of the opera if you're losing weight.

I doubt that her weight loss is a Karen Carpenter scale emergency.

If you saw an old moth-eaten sofa in an alley in the Bowery, would you lie down in it and take a nap? Sometimes I think staying in a hotel is just about equivalent to doing that. You don't know who slept in that bed before you got there. And the Hilton is just about the worst! Yuck!
To: Muentzer2005
Hilton Hotels Corp should offer to treat her bed with 500 lbs of Malathion on her next visit.

"For 6 mil, I'd let a few thousand of the little bastards bite me." For a moment I was going to top your offer with something mentioning Hillary, but just visualizing it thoroughly grossed me out.
They can't print enough money for that.

I wonder how she discovered it wasn't scabies (takes weeks to realize you're infested with them)? Even 'clean' people can be infested with scabies before they realize they're there.
