Want to see approval ratings double over night? Catch Bin Laden.
I think Bin Laden is a Dead Fish myself.
Wonder if he's solved globle warming yet? He's goona damn sure need to. Algore's not gonna1
I'm stupid, arrogant and foolishly self interested and I take offense at being compared to a journalist.
Yes, a democrat politician...but it's a close race.
No doubt about that.
I have suspicions that they (some of the so-called anti-war protestors) actually wanted the war to start while legit anti-war protestors followed them thinking it was all legit. I say this because instead of protesting Iraq in front of the UN to allow inspections they instead went to the US Embassy in NYC with anti-Bush signs. They actually instigated this war by giving Saddam a false sense of support and as he looked at the crowds against Bush he probably thought "no way will Bush be able to carry out his threats".
The dems will easily accept suicide bombers in the Walmarts through-out this nation because they think it will make Bush look bad as a President.
I suspect he is nothing but a greasy spot under the gravel pile that was once Tora-Bora.
I DO wish they would keep this kind of information to themselves. Frankly, I would like people to stop talking about him as if he were known 100% to be dead. In the event he is alive, keep up the search quietly. Let the Dems rant and rave that 'we haven't found bin Laden.'
It took years, but the much lesser known and way lesser funded CIA killer (whose name now eludes me) was eventually captured and brought to justice when no one was paying attention.
Why in God's name do Americans think we have to publish intelligence information ?
Because, dammit, we're entitled to know everything. That's our right! /s
Brian Ross, high-value target.
(Just trying to make him feel as important as he thinks he is.)
What if they are trying to get him to move, so that they can find him? Brian Ross could be an useful idiot to the CIA. We already have too many armchair CIA operatives on this forum.
I once proposed FReeping the CIA (Hey, Hey, CIA...How many leaks did you spread today?!) and received Holy Hell from many FReepers. I still think it's a great idea, though.
No, there is not.
And Sadr?
Yes, Im sure some leaks are to get the man moving but I dont care what anybody says, there have been too many leaks that are obviously not something Tony Snow looks forward to explaining.
"Reports that the trail has gone stone cold are not correct," said one U.S. official. "We are very much increasing our efforts there," the official said.
Very true. Turning the non-outing of a CIA employee into an administration scandal was pretty crafty.
They won't reveal it when they're closing in on bin Laden.
***Cough*** last time I checked, all CIA employees (except the field operatives) have been engaged on a mission to lose the GWOT.
But leaking "news" of it can sure keep bin Laden on the run and therefore unable to keep al quaida organized and effective, (if he's even alive, that is).
It can also help him elude death or capture, the only things that could justify GW's decisions as CIC in his GWOT.
And that's the absolutely last thing the people at CIA HQ want to see happen. The field operatives may have their heart in this fight but the folks in Langley want us to lose it.
I find it amazing that so many well informed people can't see the writing on the wall.
Anyone have any concern for the safety of the CIA agents on the ground?
