IMO you are reading this wrong. This is Obama's church, his bona fides as a Christian. It is also much more like a far-left, Bush-bashibg, hate-America PAC than it is a Christian congregation. One viewing of their televised services proves this in twenty foot neon letters.

There is also the 'racist' aspect but considering that they are a Black organization whose stated mission is the betterment of 'their' community no one should be surprised or even offended that their web message is replete with 'afro-centric' verbiage.

You would distance yourself from a church that promotes the Black Value System -- clearly a racist philosophy.

After you read the Black Value System, substitute the word "Black" for "White" to appreciate the racism. If the average white church posted such a value system on their website, Jess and Al would have 5,000 protestors and all the media out front.

It can have any of four different spellings. It would be interesting to check out this Jody Kantor. The name drives from the position of chazen, or chanter of the prayers in the synagogue and while not rare, it isn't ubiquitous.

Senior dies in an alcohol-related car accident in Kenya, leaving three wives, six sons and a daughter.

One of Senior's former drinking partners, Kenyan writer Philip Ochieng Ochieng says that his friend's downfall was his weak character.

"Although charming, generous and extraordinarily clever, Obama Sr. was also imperious, cruel and given to boasting about his brain and his wealth," he said.

By comparison, the US spends nearly $600 billion on a public education system that most Americans acknowledge is failing. So, which is the better investment - $460 - 470 billion for the US military fighting a war that we are winning, or $600 billion for a public school system that has failed?

And, which one is liable to have their funding cut and which is more likely to have more money thrown at it?

If every Jew voted democrat - that's not enough to elect the democrats to office. Obviously quite a number of Christians are voting democrat too. Some of those Christians are black, some are Hispanic - but many of them are white.
