Ann was Ann. She's a firebrand and not shy about sticking it to the Left. Of course she's raw and cutting and sarcastic. She goes for the jugular. She fires up the shock troops, the new and upcoming conservatives of the Republican party--the youth. They see her as an icon. The stodgy and staid, oh*so*proper and 'can't we just get along' old Republican wing is appalled and shocked, of course. I like her and I have respect for her talents. Her ability to get the blood flowing. She gets it. It is time to go to war against the Left, unleash those dogs of war and take the fight to them-in their press, their bunkers, their minds, their dark and dank reprobate philosophies and policies.

I guarantee you that if the Right and the Republicans do not get off their collectives arses, they'll be the Whigs of the 21st century. A has been party read about in forlorn textbooks in barricaded homeschool basements, with out of production crucifixes on the wall above rare copies of the Holy Bible and the old US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I am all for going for the jugular. But what she did was go for the gutter.

Sorry, she got herself in there, she can dig her way out. I'm sick of conservatives who will defend conservatives, no matter what stupid things they do.

Politics is a rough game. Like rugby, you get dirty and get the ball or you end up blood splattered for no gain.

Oh well, hopefully there are enough conservatives who can work with the warriors and become a team with the rest of us.

"Coulter didn't spare the GOP hopefuls, either. -Apparently our top three Republican nominees aren't that smart," Coulter said. "And by the way, if they're going to start apologizing for everything I say, they better keep that statement handy cause there's going to be a lot more in the next year."

I was going to have a few comments on the "top three" Republican presidential candidates, Romney, Giuliani and McCain, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot.' So . . . I can't really talk about Romney, Giuliani and McCain.

Ann...is a political commentator...commentators are supposed to have "diarreah of the mouth"...that's what they do.

Ann...is NOT a spokes person for the Republican Party.

What is it about those two concepts that you just can't seem to understand?

If you don't want to heard about people or parties, why don't you just turn off the democrat convention or the drive-by media, and watch Animal Planet?

Nice condescension. You really put me in my place. And changed my mind, too.

You're truly gifted.

"What! can the devil speak true?"

Banquo rightfully saw Ross as the devil he was...

Macbeth:
This supernatural soliciting
Cannot be ill; cannot be good: if ill,
Why hath it given me earnest of success
Commencing in a truth? I am thane of Cawdor:
If good why, why do I yield to that suggestion
Whose horrid image doth unfix my hair
And make my seated heart knock at my ribs,
Against the use of nature? Present fears
Are less than horrible imaginings:
My thought, whose murder is yet but fantastical,
Shakes so my single state of man that function
Is smother'd in surmise, and nothing is
But what is not.

Political Correctness:

When a reprobate that lives a perverted lifestyle can be insulted. And the person who tells the truth about them must attend a rehab for attitude adjustment while the pervert continues in his ways and is exalted as someone being on the "high road."

I don't care if the word faggot is derogatory to homosexuals or effiminate males, their lifestyle is repulsive, reprehensible and abominable. And the only feelings of sorrow I have is for anyone who chooses that lifestyle and/or tries to make excuses for it as, not only an acceptable lifestyle, but one to be lauded and sanctioned.

Attitudes like yours (TChris) is the very reason the GOP and conservatives are losing.

You would rather run and hide and apologize for every media-generated controversy rather than stand up and fight.

To me, this great country, and the great conservative principals which have kept it safe are too inspirational to simply surrender each time seditionists like the lame-stream media-Democrats decide to throw a hissy fit.

I'm almost ashamed each time I hear another conservative slam down on Coulter, who after all is a columnist and not even elected to anything.

To me, the argument put forth by right thinkers that "liberal Democrats say these kind of things ALL THE TIME with no media outrage" is EXACTLY THE POINT in this whole charade.

The common knowledge political class has deemed that only white conservative Republicans can offend, and that everyone else gets a pass.

To me, that is the entire 'take away' message from the Coulter episode, and one I think should have conservatives hoppping mad.

Lastly,

I think it's an acceptable explanation. Now let's move forward to more important matters.

I disagree. Ann should be held to the same standards that we hold everyone else. One of those standards is that pundits not insult our intelligence by offering disingenuous explanations for their antics.

That's all I'm complaining about here, the explanation.

Ann can throw all the verbal grenades she likes, for all I care. But don't insult me by pretending words mean something other than what they mean. That's a purely liberal tactic. It should be beneath a conservative.

The meaning of the word, especially in the context of her comment, is perfectly clear.

I too was disappointed in the rapidity that these 3 fell to their knees and begged for forgiveness from the reprobates in the old media. We have had enough of that kind of "leadership."
