Im on Verizon FIOS and I'm only getting 14605 / 1846.

I'm with Verizon DSL, runnng through my wireless connection while my daughter is playing games on the other laptop.
So that's not too bad for $21.95 a month.
I used New York because it was faster than a connection closer to my house.

It's real. I'm currently at Michigan State University, so this is campus internet directly to the Merrit Network via Internet II.
I have dial-up at home...
