Moonbat meltdown! [MA Gov] Deval begs 'don't give up on me' as devotees weep in their lattes
Boston Herald ^ | March 8, 2007 | By Margery Eagan

The moonbats are in mourning. In meltdown. In the muck, the mire. De-mooned. De-pressed. De-swooned. Ma-rooned.

Pass the Xanax, please! What happened to Divine Deval, man of hope, the man who was to restore holier-than-thou progressives - dare I say liberals - to disinfect the Corner Office after 16 years of nasty, greedy, let-them-eat-cake-crumbs-and-like-it Republicans?

"It started with the (inaugural) parties," says The Uber Moonbat of Roslindale, Erik Gehring. I first met him last fall, on his Trek 700 bike, Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, the belly of the moonbat beast by the Blissful Monkey Yoga Studio, the Wonder Spice Cafe, Boomerangs Aids Action Thrift Shop and the Milky Way Lounge with the Bob Marley mural.

"Then," says Moonbat Gehring, "it was the drapes, the DeVille. Then you have the helicopter. He’s living large. Now this," he says, as in a full scuba dive into the tank of predatory, sleazy corporate America.

"This" being Patrick's unethical phone call to Citigroup's Bob Rubin to vouch for financing ACC, on whose board Patrick sat till last summer.

The headline for the column was on the front page this morning.

Less than two months from his swearing in and he's already going down. Congratulations Massachusetts!

From the article:

J.P. Licks owner Vince Petryk said he is ‘perplexed’ by Gov. Deval Patrick.

Has FreeperTalk gone mainstream?

I've seen two newspaper articles today using the word "moonbat." There was another Boston Herald article referring to the "People's Republic of Cambridge."

No fair -- he's a minority. Coupe DeVal is entitled to all the luxury items he can get his hands on.

If he can't have reparations, he should be at least able to help himself to the Massachusetts treasury.

Anyone that says otherwise is a racist. (/sarcasm).

His campaign was nothing more than fluff, and the moonbats got what they deserve. It' just sucks they stuck me with the worst governor since Dukakis. This is what can't happen with the 08' Presidential next year, its too dangerous to let them learn their lesson on the national level.

What a shock this morning when every letter to the editor, in the Globe, slammed Deval. As one writer said "he learned from the master Bill Clinton" his former boss.

He needs the helicopter so he can fish Fat Teddy out of the water the next time he drives over a bridge, or to deliver John F'n Kerry to the Cambodia side of Taxachusetts next Christmastime!

Deval just thought that, as a Democrat, he could get away with anything in Massachusetts. Which is true, of course -- but you have to preserve the appearances, not all that well maybe, but some.

I notice Egan doesn't mention the $72,000 a year "scheduling secretary" for his wife -- who is a partner in Ropes & Gray, where presumably she has her own secretary (who probably doesn't make $72,000 a year).

Looks like the Devil Patric is following his usual MO. I was a stock holder in Texico, I was rather shocked when they brought him in, a man censered by the Supreme Court.

Had a job interview a few weeks back... they paid for my flight and hotel. Thought I was out'a here for good. It was down to me and two others... and one of them won.

I have only two words to say to MA conservatives... GET OUT.

"It' just sucks they stuck me with the worst governor since Dukakis."

What about the two useless U.S. Senators from the great state of Mass who have been re-elected repeatedly? Not all, but far too many people from that state are terribly gullible or mentally challenged

In a Marxist state, all commissars are equal - but some commissars are a little more equal. The people of Massachusetts learned absolutely nothing from the disastrous Soviet and Chinese experiments. Next, he'll be marching the city-dwellers out into the countryside to work on farms and declaring a "Great Leap Forward" or "Massachusetts, Year Zero." Possibly he'll take a page from Robert Mugabe's play book and decide to eliminate poverty by co-opting all high-priced Boston condos and allocating them to the people of Jamaica Plain, Dorchester, and Roxbury. Won't Muffy and Richie howl then!

Be careful what you wish for, Liberal yuppies - you just might get it. You got it, and there's plenty more where that came from; try boning up on your history a bit before you vote again.
