11 states oppose North American Union
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | March 9, 2007

Eleven states are working on resolutions that would oppose not only the implementation but the idea of a "North American Union," or other plans that would lead to the integration of the United States into a larger structure.

"Americans are rapidly learning the new vocabulary of the globalists," Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum told WND, "and they don't like it."

While President Bush, many members of Congress, and Bush administration bureaucrats deny there are plans for a North American Union, under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, those in state legislatures are taking no chances.

Already, 11 states have introduced resolutions to oppose the SPP, the NAU, and even the idea of the amero, a proposed currency that could be used to replace the dollar.

The resolutions also typically oppose the creation of North American Free Trade Act superhighways along the model of the Trans-Texas Corridor, the car-truck-train-pipeline corridor that is four football-fields wide and is being built parallel to Interstate 35 from Laredo, Texas to the border with Oklahoma, south of Oklahoma City.

Schlafly told WND that those lawmakers, and their constituents, are reacting against a wide range of concepts and structures being generated by the increasing pace of the integration of North America they see under the Bush administration.

"That's why state legislators are responding with resolutions criticizing a 'North American Community,' SPP, 'harmonization' of regulations, NAFTA superhighways, foreign-owned toll roads, totalization of Social Security, and speculation about the amero," Schlafly explained. "The groundswell is growing against measures that lead to 'economic integration' with other countries."

Schlafly also has joined with Howard Philips of the Conservative Caucus to create an organization specifically opposing the NAU and NAFTA superhighways.

Phyllis Schlafly is doing a magnificent job leading the charge to oppose the North American integration at the state level," Phillips told WND. "Once again, we see the genius of Eagle Forum being able to communicate a message throughout America in terms that mobilize voters to take action."

Robert Pastor is an American University professor who is using his book, "Toward a North American Community," to promote the development of a North American union as a regional government and the adoption of the amero as a common monetary currency to replace the dollar and the peso.

I'm sure once the good people of America are made aware of this horrible NAU plan by the good and honest folks in conservative radio, maybe like Rush, Hannity etc, there will then be a huge ground swell, voice in opposition to it.

There is still hope for we the people.

Thank you, Phyllis Schlafly, for being a great American.

This is the best news I've heard in a long time.

Which will be promptly ignored by the MSM and Congress.

The States nor the voters have been asked, based on what I've read.

The Bush Administration is pushing the NAU without consent of Congress and without the will of the voters. Bush had been pushing the NAU in secret dealings that had been going on for 2 years before they were found out and made public by a few Congresspersons and news reporters.

The formation of the NAU is basically a done deal. It goes into effect by 2012 (IIRC), unless Congress finds a way (and the backbone) to stop it.

Well at least after a long hard day of work by the elites, cfr etc everywhere we know they are all off somewhere together yukking it up, having a good laugh at our expense or whatever the heck they do, after all they deserve a good therapeutic laugh for all the hard work they do, all the sacrifices made creating their NWO, all in the best interest of the sheeple.

That's an interesting list of states -- not what you would expect if it was a reaction to the superhighway coming through their town. It isn't coming through Washington, or Georgia, or Virginia, or probably Utah or Arizona (although Arizona is a border state so that might also count).

I'll check with my local representatives to find out what the thinking was on the Virginia bill, but I wonder if some of these are in opposition for economic reasons related to other forms of trade. For example, Washington and Virginia both have a large part of their economy in shipping, which could be hurt if it was cheaper to ship goods into mexican ports and then transport them cheaply into the heartland.

OK, I checked the Virginia bill, and it didn't go anywhere. However, I noticed that it had only two sponsors (one in the senate, one in the house).

And the House sponsor was MY delegate. So I sent him an e-mail asking him his thoughts on the matter. My delegate is a great guy who is always the target of the left because he is a rock when it comes to spending constraint, abortion, and other social issues. Our state's marriage amendment bore his name: the Marshall-Newman amendment.

It was good to see him on the right side of this issue as well, but I'm not surprised, the only time I seem to disagree with him is when I fall off the reservation :-)

We are gearing up for his hardest re-election campaign yet. He was opposed by state and federal groups last year, with his no-name opponent drawing hundreds of thousands of dollars into what should be a mail-order campaign for a delegate seat. That money was targetted I believe because of his pro-marriage stance, but the same candidate is running again and we think he'll get the money to fight another difficult battle.

This NAU conspiracy is definitely real, and it is definitely set to occur soon. Ross Perot tried to warn us, but he was steamrolled by the conspirators and the stampede of short sighted, uninformed, pleasure seeking Americans that are the swing group in most elections. They get us fighting over gay marriage, morals, religion, race and culture. Hiding behind the smoke of our internal bickering, the conspirators are selling the country, establishing regional "monarchies" and overpowering the people like serfs and peons of the 1500's. The signs are everywhere, the conspiracy is obvious but the people don't see it. They are too narrowly focused on their hatred for the opposite political party, the price of gasoline, the Iraq War and a host of conveniently constructed politically correct issues designed for mind control and indoctrination.

There was an article a couple of months ago about a super-highway branching off of the one going from Mx through Kansas City on to Canada. The branch superhighway would taverse the southeast US into Florida. That would probably includes additional branches to N.O., L.R./Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, etc.

You can bet that, if they build the highway from Mexico to Canada, they will add branches to other locations eventually.

Even yesterday, we were getting breaking news headlines about Anna Nichole Smith's autopsy being delayed.

That is where the MSM is and they want to keep the focus of the public on such similar trivial minutia. The MSM feed the public mind mush to keep them occupied -- so they know what is really going on. The MSM must be considered co-conspirators, after all, they may be public companies, but very wealthy persons hold much of their stocks.

We know for certain that a Middle Easterner owns around 5% of News Corp, the parent company of Fox News. Does anyone with 2 functioning braincells not believe that that guy can influence the favor of news in all of the News Corp print and broadcast venues?

I have to laff

These guys in Fairbanks are pushing for an Alaskan vote for secession from the US.

I guess they think we'll do better with foreign aid.

And, most Alaskans already speak pretty good English.

Yup! I am even more harsh toward the MSM. The evidence of their conspiracy goes way back to the early Reagan years and to the McCarthy hearings. The MSM covered for and provided propaganda for spies, traitors and cultural destruction. McCarthy attempted to expose them, but he was buried under an avalanche of propaganda for which he did not have the resources to counter. The MSM quickly became (and remains today) non-elected, with a lifetime link to each and every human mind, with more exposure and control than the cumulative efforts of generations of Presidents and leading politicians. They have effectively become the unelected quasi governmental propaganda ministry, whose charge is to program and control American thinking. They can use their clout to exonerate murderers, demean Christians, lionize terrorists and convict innocent people, change cultural & moral values and incite hatred. Even after Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev pounded his shoe on a desk and told us how they were going to set Americans against one another and topple the country from within, no one seemed to care. The country is now crumbling before our eyes and the main concerts still revolve around the politically correct issues slyly generated by the MSM.
