You are probably right, there are similarities. In the case of Ted Kennedy, he keeps getting elected, because of his last name, and in the case of Deval Plastic, he got elected because he is black. I don't believe political issues played a major role in Gov. Plastic's election. Guilty white liberals, cannot bring themselves to vote against a Kennedy or a black candidate. This makes me worried for America. If Obama somehow gets the nomination, we could be in trouble, as America has a lot of guilty white liberals who desperately need to assuage their guilt.

I hear there have been a lot of letters to the Boston Globe from erstwhile supporters complaining that this wasn't what they bagained for. Even the Globe has taken a few swipes.

Our Governor here in Texas has shown his true colors since Nov. He might give the Mass Gov a run for his money.
