The small group is heading to Washington D.C. to plant a "Flag City" to honor the troops.
A small caravan of military families in cars, trucks and motor homes gathered in Griffith Park at noon today to support the troops and to criticize politicians calling for withdrawal from Iraq.

emphasis on "small"
Yes, small, and they got a long time to get to D.C. and get numbers. It's hard for people to just pick up and leave for a week or two, and that's what they're doing now. The Gathering of Eagles is a huge event and I'll be there. The emphasis won't be on "small."

dripping with bias!
My reaction was "Really? You're warning veterans to not upset your group. You're wanting people with combat experience and hand-to-hand training to be afraid of what you're going to do? You should worry about not pissing off the vets. You should ESPECIALLY worry about the older guys. The ones without wedding bands. The ones whose kids have grown and moved out, and whose wives have moved on. The ones who have nothing left but their honor. You should think about how they will feel at any attempt to desecrate that which they hold sacred."
