On February 23, former president of the Virginia chapter of the ACLU Charles Rust-Tierney was arrested at his home in Arlinton, Va. and charged with receiving and possessing child pornography... Despite the news worthiness of this story, the mainstream press has failed to cover it.
Rust-Tierney owned numerous computer discs filled with images of young girls being victimized. The investigation report described prepubescent girls "seen and heard crying" and many "bound by rope." There were even videos discovered in his home which depicted infants being tortued and raped. Due to the incredibly heinous nature of the material, U.S. District Court Judge Barry R. Poretz ordered the ACLU chief held in jail until his trial.
As president of the Virginia ACLU of Virginia, Charles Rust-Tierney brought lawsuits against local authorities in an attempt to keep pornographic websites available on public library computers.
In contrast to their almost obsessive coverage of the Catholic Church child sex-abuse scandal, the leftist media has buried the arrest of a top ACLU official on child pornography charges...
Instead of reporting on an ACLU lawyer who not only defends child pornography in court but is himself seemingly obsessed with the vile material, the press decided to carry more news on...Anna Nicole Smith.
The press has a responsibility to report on the activities of any individual or group which endangers the public. Giving a pass to child molesters and pornographers makes the American mainstream press complicit in the exploitation of defenseless children.
It is hard to imagine that the mainstream media can sink any lower. However, I am certain that they will try.

You make only one mistake in your link to the article about someone else being jailed for this offense. That someone was not a "ruling elite" of this society. ALCU members and other liberals do not live by the same standards as the rest of the Public Entities Of the Nation, or PEON's for short.
O'Reilly reported on it twice that I know of.
