Shep Smith Says He Hopes Everyone Believes Global Warming From Humans
FOX News
Posted on 03/12/2007 12:50:43 PM PDT by davidtalker
How many of you just saw Shep Smith (the man who touts himself as un opinionated) with this eco whacko pushing a "carbon neutral" lifestyle? Guy was saying 99% of scientists say humans are responsible for Global Warming. The guy said the tide has turned and even the skeptics are coming around to believe this. Shep replies "I hope so." Just one of those Shep Smith moments that make me crazy. I'd love to see his email.

Really? And all I thought he needed was to open his eyes and look around.

The guy isn't especially bright - I didn't think highly of him before and certainly don't now.
He's a talking-head newsreader and not very good at it.

Screw carbon. Build nukes.
Anyone who thinks they understand the workings of the sun is ridiculous. You have to discount the sun in order to believe climate change is solely from human activity.

I saw and heard that too. I couldn't believe what I was watching/hearing.
Here is FOX telling everybody that "We report, you decide", but Shep is telling everybody that they are wrong and he's decided for them that they're wrong. Furthermore, when it comes to the "Fair and Balanced" part of FOX, there was not balance, just far-left tripe and opinions from two morons..
I didn't have too much respect for Shep in the past, but with this latest episode, he's lost all respect from me.

My favorite time of year is when Shep Smith goes on vacation.
I have a problem with the morning babe too - can't stand her. And didn't like the what's-her-name who came before that.
Why can't they find someone with brains?

Shep's in there rooting for global taxation apparently.

Shep was in back of us in the Monster seats at a Red Sox-Yankees Game two years ago. He had a whole tray (8-10) of beers.

I think a lot of times these hosts say things like "Uh huh" and "I know" or "of course" when they don't mean it or even realize it. Was he looking at his notes when he said it?
Of course, Shep is a major goofball dramaqueen, so he probably did mean it.

I've known that all along. But what he did today goes too far. Never again will I watch someone who's so biased. The least he could've done is to allow the guest to spew his side of the issue and Shep could've just asked some questions without sounding so biased. It was like Al Gore interviewing that global warming idiot. .
Glenn Beck will have another viewer tonight. Fox is off-limits from my TV and home from 7 to 8pm.

I usually watch Fox -- until THIS moron comes on the screen.
He really ought to lighten up the make-up AND the overly-dramatic speech patterns.
Hope he's auditioning for a shot in Hollywood (where he really belongs). Then I can NOT go to see his movies as well.
To: eyespysomething
No. Shep agreed with the guy's message throughout the segment. He said "I hope so" at the end when told skeptics were coming to the conclusion humans were responsible. No doubt about it. This was Shep in agreement and making his personal feelings known.
