Warner hits Pace on gay remarks Posted by Jill Zuckman at 12:05 p.m. CDT The ranking Republican of the Senate Armed Services Committee sharply rebuked the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Tuesday, taking issue with General Peter Paces view that homosexual acts are immoral. Sen. John Warner (R-Va.), a former Secretary of the Navy, said, I respectfully but strongly disagree with the chairmans view that homosexuality is immoral. In keeping with my longstanding respect for the Armed Services committee hearing process, I will decline to comment on the current policy until after such hearings are held.

Does Warner believe anything is immoral? Is it immoral to allow your vote to be swayed because of your own immoral behavior? Is it immoral to carry on with married women? Is it immoral to cheat on your wife? Is it immoral to carry on with someone else's wife? Etc.

No, he means any possible future hearings about changing the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Well, if Warner feels pressured to say this, then he may feel inclined to change the "don't ask don't tell" as well. Surely the other Armed Service Committee types are feeling similar pressure as well. Which means the General may have just shot his own position in the foot.

It may not be immoral but it is antithetical to the very paradigms that govern all mammals on material Earth, i.e. two sexes for production of life, and inmical code for the programing that guides each of those sexes.
