Former N.J. Gov. McGreevey Seeks Custody of 5-Year-Old Daughter, Child Support From Wife

Former Gov. James McGreevey, who resigned from office after revealing that he was gay and had an affair with a male staffer, is seeking custody of his 5-year-old daughter and child support from his estranged wife. The revised divorce lawsuit by McGreevey, who resigned in November 2004, does not mention the "matrimonial settlement agreement" that McGreevey originally said had resolved all custody and support issues concerning his daughter, Jacqueline. McGreevey's wife, Dina Matos, has 35 days to respond to the revised filing. The papers filed last month in Union County Superior Court ask the judge to assign McGreevey custody, to award visitation to the noncustodial parent and to award him "suitable support and maintenance." "Dina and I both seek the best interests of Jacqueline," McGreevey said Tuesday. "We're asking the court to determine what's the most appropriate balance in the child's interest." He would not answer further questions about the exact custody arrangement he is seeking. Any payments to either party would be determined by a family court judge. Matos and her lawyer, John Post, could not be reached Tuesday. Matos said last month that the two "continue to have profound differences about what our daughter should be exposed to, and until they are resolved, there will be no agreement." McGreevey and his wife have lived apart since McGreevey resigned.

Hmmm. The former spousal unit doesn't seem to be following Democrat policy.

And what with the way our f-ed up legal system is today i wouldn't be suprised if this pervert got custody and support.
Maybe he can take the child to strange park restrooms with him.

Is he insane? (yes, that much is obvious) "A woman scorned," Jimbo! I suspect there are a few things about his governorship that the missus might let slip. OTOH, Jimbo does seem to be acting like a woman in a divorce case. Guess he's not the bull in the new relationship.

"Former Gov. James McGreevey, who resigned from office after revealing that he was gay and had an affair with a male staffer, is seeking custody of his 5-year-old daughter and child support from his estranged wife..."

The filthy degenerate should never see his daughter again except in supervised visits. The preternatural gall for him to ask for custody and support boggles the mind!

One gratefully recalls the Mia Farrow / Woody Allen case ----the judge denied custody citing Woody's "self-absorbtion" (Allen had taken porno picture of Mia's adopted daughter and is now married to the young girl).

Hopefully, the judge will see through Me Myself and I McSleaze's ploy. Fact is his ex is writing a tell-all. This is the scumbag's attempt to lean on her, callously using the child, so Dina won't spill all she knows about his skeevey activities.

A woman scorned? If this were my ex, I can promise you, he would live to regret this request.

Ex Gov. Jim McGreevey should NOT get custody of his daughter. He is a member of Stonewall.

Brief history of the modern childlove movement

Excerpt:

NAMBLA emerged from the tumultuous political atmosphere of the 1970s, particularly from the leftist wing of the Gay Liberation movement which followed the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City. Although discussion of gay adult-minor sex did take place, gay rights groups immediately following the Stonewall Riot were more concerned with issues of police harassment, nondiscrimination in employment, health care and other areas.

McGreevey probably feels that he would provide a better female role model.
