Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.

Plame is laying the groundwork for a future law suit against the "leakers" who destroyed her career. The fact that she mentioned the Libby conviction is gratuitous nonsense. Libby was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice, not leaking her name.
Well goodness... isn't she admitting that she is responsible for the BAD Iraq WMD intelligence????
'They' didn't get what they wanted from Fitzgerald, and this is nothing more than a sham, on her behalf, to get their message OUT.

How often does a person set a perjury trap for themselves?
Probably, and when a Republican asks a question that's "out of bounds", Waxman will rule it out of order and she won't have to answer. The media will gush about how he kept an "iron hand" on the proceedings and prevented the Republicans from turning it into a "political witch hunt."

She must have gotten word from the CIA that they would back up her lies today...otherwise, how can she totally lie about everything like this???
The only other explanation is that EVERYTHING that we have read by Feldman and Toensing have been LIES.

I'm sure they've worked very hard to carefully craft all of the statements and answers she gives so that they are technically not false, but convey exactly the opposite meaning.
