Who cares what Delay thinks? He and Dick Armey were responsible for two coup attempts against Newt, the second one being successful. The first one only failed because he and Armey got in a tizzy over who would become Speaker so Delay ran back to Gingrich and informed him of the coup.
These guys are all backstabbers out only for themselves. They could care less about what's good for the conservative movement or the GOP.

More significantly IMO, DeLay said that, despite his differences with Hunter on trade, as Commander In Chief, there's no better candidate.

I guess anyone who doesn't want to be backstabbed might care. What you're saying is news to me and I'll bet not one in ten thousand people have heard about it. But about a million or more just heard Delay sling the "protectionist" mud at DH today. A good defense isn't sticking one's head in the sand so I gave a head's up on what's going 'round.
