Iraq War Anniversary Vigil
Americans across the country are more concerned than ever about our direction in Iraq. Now is the time for Congress to force a change.
On March 19th, thousands of us from organizations across the movement will gather together to observe the fourth anniversary of the war through candlelight vigils. We’ll solemnly honor the sacrifice made by more than 3,000 servicemen and women, and we'll contemplate the path ahead of us. We cannot send tens of thousands of exhausted, under-equipped, and unprepared troops into the middle of an Iraqi civil war.
Join us at a candlelight vigil on Monday, March 19th. Honor the sacrifice. Stop the escalation. Bring the troops home.
There will be a Silent Candlelight Vigil marking the 4th anniversary of the Iraq War held Monday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. in downtown Lynchburg at the foot of Monument Terrace, at 8th & Church Streets. Bring your own candle and make sure it has a wax drip protector. You might also bring any peace signs you have from the demonstration held in January outside of Congressman Goodlatte’s office and/or an American flag. Jerry Falwell must be getting tired. How could such a lib feel comfortable living int he birthplace of the Moral Majority?
I don't think this isn't Falwell's school, is it? Isn't his, Liberty University?
All due respect but you can both find all of that out by simply google searching it. If you care to contact any of the above listed LC Faculty members and log your concern, that would be nice.
I know they aren't the same place. But, Liberty is in Lynchburg. I was just wowwed by the fact that where once it was a haven of rest for Christians, you now find a den of liberalism.

I am talking about the city, not Liberty U. I love Liberty, and were God to allow, I would attend in a heartbeat.
Springfield Missouri has been called the buckle of the Bible Belt but I seen today in the paper that Drury University's chaplain is appearing at an antiwar event. Nowhere is safe.
Yep, Baptist Bible College is there. My criticism concerning Moral Majority wasn't directly aimed at it, but more at we Christians failing the great commission, how that we are quickly becoming a salt that has lost its savor.
