I just got back from an undercover foray into enemy territory.
LOL. No way do I want a larger version of THAT!
Good work, rr. Keep 'em coming.
Too much pork for just one fork!
I'll be moving to northern Arkansas next month. What's up with Fayetteville? The college?
That's either an ugly lady or a pretty monster.
They deserve each other.
Arrest that man! He's a terrorist sympathizer.
Hope he didn't ask you out, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Why is that woman wearing a collender on her head? To ward off Defense Department death rays?
Fayetteville, North Carolina. But the University of Arkansas is probably top-heavy with goofballs, too.
Pretty good crowd! Wish we could have been there.

"Fayetteville, North Carolina. But the University of Arkansas is probably top-heavy with goofballs, too."
DOH! Dang Marquis de Lafayette. It's his fault all these places have his name. :)
Bless you all. I will have a report from up here tomorrow.
Well, he was French.
Good luck with your move! We looked into moving to Bentonville, AR, a few years ago, and it seems like a reasonably nice part of the country. Pretty good homeschool law, and reasonable housing prices.
I took over for Kristinn taylor this year on the megaphone. Even the cops were laughing. The guy who got arrested probably didn't think it was funny when I started the "Taser" chant.
Hey! We missed you. I had told someone at the rally that you were missing. You are good at making astute observations.
You'll love it here. And yes the college is top-heavy with liberal whackos.
We all had a wonderful time. Both sides had attendance that was down from last year. I think the Moonbats attendance was down more percentage wise than ours. One of the reporters told me that he had counted 60 on our side. That was good. We all had our pictures taken by the various press persons. I know that News Channel 14(that's the NC news channel for Time Warner on the cable), The News & Observer (Raleigh, NC) and The Fayetteville Observer got me. I had spoken to two of them a couple of days before the rally also.
We definitely let the Moonbats know that we were there. I was callin "Here chickie, chickie, chickie" when Ricky Clausing (sp?) spoke. I know he got mad. I kept up calling the little chickies and then told him I had a poster of a pink, girlie chicken for him. He was a former soldier who went AWOL and then came back from wherever he had gone to tell of atrocities that he said our troops committed during his 1st tour of duty in Iraq. Yeah, right! I even got to do my piercing yell that sounds like the Middle Eastern women. That yell goes on and on and on. I would end with the announcement that I was a smoker and we would all laugh.
After the rally, I found out that the dweeb who got arrested for not wanting to obey the officers, was bonded out by a lawyer for The Quaker House (one of the sponsors for today's Moonbat Experience)and was dumb enough to come back to the rally and try to get over to us again. That's what got him arrested to begin with. The dumbie was stupid enough to come back and try it again. I guess he didn't want to go through it all again and he decided to leave us alone.
It was great to see some of the fellow Freepers. Flib came up from SC and Stone Cold and CF River rat came from their part of the state. The sound system and our music were wonderful. Thank you guys. A very good job. Flib's signs were very well done just as they were last year.
We had a pretty good turnout from our Rolling Thunder chapter. They are sooooo cool. It was great to just talk to some of them. Everyone mingled more this year and you just got to talk to just about everyone on our side.
After a successful Freep, we headed to Huske Hardware and fellowshipped over some good food. The crab dip was awesome.
I'm having a hard time getting my hands to warm up. It was chilly out there when the sun would disappear. And, I get to go out again tomorrow and do it again. Carolyn, who got the permit for us today, has three daughters, one who has organized a rally for tomorrow afternoon from 1-4 at the Market House. It is totally a "Support Our Troops" rally. Nothing political. I can just about guarantee that no Moonbat puts in an appearance.
I'm pretty sure that Carolyn would join me in saying thanks to all who came to Fayetteville today. She did most of the worrying about this rally. Everyone who was there added a lot to our side. A good time was had by all.
Hey dstarr, what about me?
Personally, I think our FRiend, cf_river_rat has a future as a DJ. I consider it a success that the other side complained to the cops about how loud our system was. I had about 5000 watts less than their system, and still drowned them out from 150 yards away.
Funny how it's illegal to call the other side "wusses", idden it? But they can call us nazis and other unspeakable things. Double standard?
Hey, good for you! High-tech counter-protestors!
Funny about their taking Carolyn's scissors. I guess they felt they had to be "fair." Two years ago, I carried in an eight-inch bread knife to cut up our big sandwich; I guess that wouldn't have worked this time.
What's funny is they had at least 3 times the power I did. Probably more. (I intend to have 8 times the power by next year.)
They have one shot of me in the photo album, I may have to send them $5 for a copy of that one.
Sorry! Mea Culpa! I was so tired when I got home that I fell asleep on the sofa and slept until about 10am Sunday morning.
Yes, one and all, Wolfpat was there. He did his part well.
Sug, your sound system put their's to shame. I really liked what we heard from our side of the street. It helped me save my voice.
And I see from reading here that SC SwampFox was there. I tell you, I was tired when I got home. I'm going out to do a little bit the same thing again, shortly. I hope it warms up a little bit more.
I'm glad I was handed the paper that all the things we should thank a soldier for. I should have read it again and again to them instead of just the one time.
Maybe Anoreth will have her electric guitar by next year, and we can do a live show :-). I'll put her to work on arranging warmer weather, too. If we hadn't gotten up yesterday to 22 degrees and howling wind, I might have declared a spontaneous change of plan.
You looked great, Diane! How was the bathroom and parking situation? We'll probably still have a kid in diapers this time next year.
Rolling Thunder had a port-a-potty for us. That was very generous of them. Next year the rallies will not be at this park so we'll have to see what transpires for next year. There are a couple of other large parks that could be used for rallies.
Maybe we can get a more level site! And I didn't think it was fair that the moonbats had the playground and the toilets!
And they caught you here too. You did well with your short and to the point speechifying. We did have them laughing at some of the remarks we'd come out with. I was told today at the "Support the Troops" rally at the Market House, that I was known as "The Chicken Lady". My pink girlie chicken was complimented.

Sorry. I forgot to paste the link.
Wolf, as I was walking back to my car I could hear us out on Hay Street!
Dstarr, let's pray that next year there won't be any rallies because our soldiers will be home and safe.
I would love for FR to have annual conservative action rallies to push the conservative agenda.
Booo Hooo HOOOO the po wittle moonbat thought we were disrespectful. My heart bleeds............NOT!!!!

From the morning paper

Not a bad article, good work to the youths.
Hmmm... why is it that every time (and I mean every single time) that I see pictures of leftist "protesters" there is always a contingent of them dressed up like some impressionist painter's nightmare?
Why do people who say they have a serious issue and want to draw attention to it dress like NUTS?
I think most of them don't really care about their "cause of the day." They just want attention and affirmation from like minds.
... or they're just NUTS.

Way to go folks! Missed being a part of it! NICE PIX RR!
