Using Live Mice...

Posted on 03/20/2007 12:30:33 PM PDT by John Robinson

We technicians here in the Free Republic server room experimented with real mice attached to our computers. Unfortunately, not one mouse survived being plugged-in for more than a few minutes. We've reverted back to the hamsters, they're more durable and they know how to dance to the electronic pop music we enjoy.

You should notice a significant improvement in response time.

Go go hamsters.

I like mice.

Want to trade recipes?

I guess thanks. But how about editing our own posts, Freepmail management functions, youtube/flashplayer embedding, etc., etc.?

I'll give you a big thanks if you can get some of that going.

There's new stuff in the cooker, it's been very slow going though. :-( All except the youtube/flash are on my list. I'll consider adding those.

Thanks a lot, John, the site crashed my session. :-P I've been to the Hampster Dance site before, though, so I'm not sure why it didn't work this time. That site was around ten years ago, and back then they used a sped-up version of some music from Disney's Robin Hood.

Oh, and just for the sake of being equal to all: This is HUGH.

It does me too, I rarely go to look at it, it makes me mad also.

And Thank You but I can't take full credit. I stole it from another FReeper, with their permission, and put it there.

I hope that response was tongue-in-cheek.

If so, carry on.

If not, you clearly don't know who you're dealing with. Hint: examine the last name closely.
