How dare CAIR promote understanding of Muslims and Islamic culture? Who cares that they spend a fair portion of the site attacking terrorism and have a "Not in Our Name of Islam" section which speaks out against violence.
They are different than us, so we should condemn them. God Bless America!

You need to take a crash course in logic. You just used a logical fallacy by inverting my remarks and expecting the opposite outcome. The course will take one quarter and cost you a few hundred dollars but will be worth it.
People should be praised or condemned based on their actions. Al Queda should be stamped out for their deeds. Since 9/11 we run the risk of condemning any and all Muslim or Arab groups. Far as I can tell, CAIR has gone further than most Muslim organizations in condemning terror and any violence in Islam's name ("Not in our Name"). I'm not going to join the fray in piling on them because they're Muslim. No I don't wish to take back my remarks; rather, I'm disappointed with a trend here at FR towards animosity towards all Muslims. We are better than that.

Do you even know what cair is? I somehow doubt it because if you did, you could not support them. If you do know what they are and still support them, we have nothing further to say to each other.

When you refer to "them", you are referring to all Muslims? If so, I must be in a parallel universe that I speak as a minority here saying that is not cool.
