John Conyers is not worth a warm pail of spit, as the saying goes..... but he will get a pass from the MSM yet again because they don't mind providing propaganda and cover-ups for the deranged America-hating left.

Yep, that's true. It's also true that I have a number of firearms in the bedroom closet and a chunk of ammunition. It's also true that upon seizing power many Americans will learn terms such as "jury nullification," the "general strike," or, best of all, the "you can just go to hell" attitude. I don't see the police or the army lining up behind the left to implement their policies, either, which means that we might just be burdened with crackpot bureaucrats for a while before people reinvent the black market to serve their needs. In other words, if the left really tries to take over, there would be chaos and anarchy long before there would Stalin and Mao. Except for a few places that deserve it, like Berkeley and the Upper West Side.
Mark Levin was all over Conyers tonight re his far left background, etc.

It has a disclaimer on the bottom of the page, so Communist Conyers has 'plausible' deniability. This does not look like a smoking gun linking him or his group directly with these Maosists. Tell me what I am missing here.

I sure can't argue with you on that.
As an optimist though, I think this may turn out well for us. If there's going to be a reaction of the voters to punish the Republicans, I'd rather that it happen in 2006 than 2008. The Democrats are doing just like we knew they would... overreaching. The voters may react by giving a smackdown to the Democrats in 2008. I really don't think the public wants what the Dem leadership will give them.
Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but I could see it happening.

A few years ago there was a list posted of membership in the DSA-USA. The Democratic Socialists of America consists of congressional membership who are working to blend socialist ideas with Democracy.
The list disappeared. if anyone has access to that list it would be very refreshing as to who in high government is also a member of this unAmerican organization.
With the opening of the USSR and trade with Red China, people have forgotten how dangerous socialism is to our Republic and it has lulled people into a false sense that communism is dead.
