Wasn't referring to gold, but rather equities and what I viewed as some intraday short covering panic. The fact that we're not seeing follow through in the equity market today is telling for short term traders.
Not sure how you're wired when it comes to investing, but my experience with gold bugs is that they cannot see the forest for the trees. You may find common ground, fellowship and comedy on the Yahoo ABX or NEM boards

Maybe the way the market's up today isn't what some would call "follow through", but as far as I'm concerned it'll do just fine until 'real' follow through comes along.
