Last week, the Salt Lake Tribune reported that the day before 18 year-old Sulejman Talovic killed Mormons in Utah, he told his girlfriend that
“something is going to happen tomorrow that you’ll never be able to forgive me about,'’ the 17-year-old remembers Talovic saying. “He said it was supposed to be the happiest day of his life and that it could only happen once in a lifetime.”
In case that doesn’t sound convincingly Islamic enough, consider that Sulejman’s favorite movie was “Malcolm X”. Or consider the lie he told his girlfriend:
Monika said Talovic described hiding in the woods over a period of three years, lying face down in the dirt to avoid watching as Serbs decapitated countrymen nearby. He told Monika of seeing people shot in the head or stomach. He did witness killings, his aunt said.
Hmm, Christians decapitating Muslims? It’s possible, but it could be projection: While the public has seen pictures and videos of people shot by Serbs, what has not been circulated to the public is any of the videos of beheadings, eye-gougings, disembowelment and other mutilations of Serbs by Bosniaks. So as usual, there is some projection going on. (On Passover every year, the Palestinian Authority broadcasts a movie in which a Jew slits an Arab boy’s throat to get the Christian blood he needs to make the matzo. Of course, we know who does the throat-slitting in reality.)

So he killed a bunch of people who, by his own admission and that of his family, took them in and and provided them a safe place and a prosperous place of refuge. But he had to now bring the same death and destruction that they say they decry, onto innocent people, wholly uninvolved with their past, and try and create the same situation here. That is how maniacle the core belief system of these people is.
There are tens of thousands with this exact same potential amongst us...what the media says, what the administration or anyone else says notwithstanding.
That is why taking the fight to them, on their ground, remains so critical.
For us here at home, and equally importantly IMHO, that is also why the second amendment and its use among the citizenry of this nation to this day remains critical. Have high distrust...and, IMHO, out and out contempt for any politician or public administrator that wants to violate their oat and deny the citizenry this critical right.
In the end, it is each of our respopnsibility and our unalienable right to defend ourselves.
What amazes me here is the lies -- the continual series of lies -- that keeps getting ignored by the media, as they trip over each other to get the "juiciest" and "most pathetic" stories without ever checking any of this out. And God-forbid, without ever showing more sympathy for the innocents who were killed in that mall than the jihadist picking up a weapon and killing them all!

when the State fails in its duty, you can be sure that 'non-state actors' will take action on their own.
It's going to take another outbreak or two of 'Sudden Jihad Syndrome' before a significant portion of the population wises up to what's going on around them. Watch for more and more people to begin arming themselves and just flat ignoring those stupid 'No Guns' signs. I'll bet a significant number are doing that already.
Since my entire State has a 'no concealed weapons' sign up I've been forced to. I've taken steps to see that when my family is in a likely disarmed victim zone I'm not while also seeing that my behavior nominally complies with the law.
It's not ideal, but it is necessary. So I guess I'm one of those 'non state actors' who's taking action.
It's only going to take a few more events like this to reach a tipping point. Either enough people will rise up and demand their politicians follow the plan language of the Constitution or the opposite will happen and a massive crackdown on privately owned firearms will begin.
In the first instance more people will be protected. In the second, an ugly and brutal low level civil war will commence.
