Exactly. I can also tell my kids "day care" friends...what impresses me the most is how they have no fear of and no problem lipping adults.

I think a combo of being with like aged peers and having parents that shield and give anything to their child b/c of guilt is the problem. These same parents have 1 to 2 children tops and expect their children to grow up and save the world, believe their children are geniuses... so the small amount of together time that they do have is spent carting these kids from tutors to private lessons of all kinds.

I know parents of a first grader who has their kid being tutored b/c the child can't read! He is in first grade! Apparently this child is such a genius that he should be way ahead of his peers and since he isn't then he needs to have a tutor. sick. I pray that he doesn't hurt himself as a teen.
