"Unfortunately for conservatives, not all republicans are evangelicals." Unfortunately for Republicans who think Rudy is the only person who can win, he can't do it without conservative Evangelicals.

"Rudy Giuliani is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment....what works in New York doesn't necessarily work in Mississippi or Montana."
Rudy:
"The Constitution and Bill of Rights ends at the borders of New York City. Or as POTUS - any dam place I say."
Okay, okay, he didn't say that. He said this..
"Freedom is about Authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority."
Hey! Wait a sec, I don't see a difference?!?!

Giuliani's support drops 13 percentage points since the last USA Today/ Gallup poll, March 2-4. "Down 13 points? Oh, please, I didn't mean it when I said 'dumb Christian conservatives.'
I kinda, sorta like conservatives. Me and my handlers just don't want 'em anywhere near my campaign."

You are seriously delusional! If you cannot tell the difference between Rudy and Clinton (either one), you cannot tell sh** from Shinola.

We don't need a president who thinks the Bill of Rights varies from state to state. Hell, there won't be a bill of rights when he gets done with us!
"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do and how you do it." -Mayor Giuliani, New York Newsday pg A3 4/20/98
"State authority must provide for peace and order, and peace and order in turn must conversely make possible the existence of state authority. Within these two poles all life must now revolve...Ideas of 'freedom,' mostly of a misunderstood nature, inject themselves into the state conceptions of these circles". -Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

Actually, if Rudy gets the nomination voting Republican IS voting Democrat. Conservatives aren't so stupid to fall for your faulty logic.

Unfortunately for Republicans who think Rudy is the only person who can win, he can't do it without conservative Evangelicals.Oh, I agree completely.
I cannot imagine why any evangelical would vote for Rudy in the primaries.
But if they stay home during the general? Then they deserve the regional minority party they will have inherited.
I've held my nose in just about every general election, voting for the lesser of two evils. Is that too much to ask from these folks?

Check out how Ronnie Reagan's social positions evolved over time, particularly since his time as CA governorReagan's change of views did not coincide with seeking higher office. Reagan also never addressed NARAL. Twice.

"BTW, a non vote IS a vote for the Democrats."
So?
If the candidate for Side A is Hitler and the Candidate for Side B is Mussolini
What difference does it make?
I'm not calling either candidate democrat or republican hitler and mussolini, but the difference between any democrat front runner and the Liberal wing of the Republican party is negligible.
A Liberal is still a Liberal no matter what party they are in.
