Try smiling. Don`t think we are helping to beat Hillorat when we bash ANY of our own at this point in time. Why don`t we listen to what they are saying now and then pick "our guy."

"Those who sell their liberty for security are understandable, if pitiable, creatures. Those who sell the liberty of others for wealth, power, or even a moment’s respite, deserve only the end of a rope... America’s historic misfortune is that her people have seldom been equal to the ideals upon which their nation was established. "— L. Neil Smith, The American Zone (2001)

I'd rather have the option of fighting back than have some bureaucrat like Rudy try and disarm me. Just my opinion of course. ;-)

Try smiling.

I'm smiling (and weeping on the inside) at the fact so many are willing to ignore Giuliani's many, many, MANY faults.

Don`t think we are helping to beat Hillorat when we bash ANY of our own at this point in time.

Again, you call it bashing. Showing someone's words/record/actions is NOT bashing.

Why don`t we listen to what they are saying now and then pick "our guy."

Giuliani's contradicting himself. He's pandering for the vote, and that makes him even more of a turn-off. If he had changed his positions years ago - like Reagan - then I'd be willing to listen to him more. As it is, his positoins have been pretty consistent over the years, even after the end of his mayoral term...and those positions just aren't acceptable.

Lots of women and minorities are gun owners too.

So friggin' what?

I never said gun owners, as such, as knuckle draggers.

Rudy is just as bad as Billery. Hell he is worse. He pretends to be one of you and then stabs you in the back.

With Rudy the Republicans are dead in the gate. That is why the msm is pushing him so hard because they know that he will lose in Nov. Wake up people. NO RUDY

Eh... a bit over the top. Rudy is more "conservative" than Hillery, but he's still predominantly liberal. A bit like saying Fidel Castro a "bit less" communistic than Hugo Chavez.

"Gun owners, like everyone else, should be afraid of Islamofascists."

Gun owners, like everyone else, should be afraid of Guiliani

There fixed it for you.

Keep up the good work! Rudy is bad news plain and simple. Any politician that doesn't trust his constituents and treats them all as potential criminals has no business being in office.

Giuliani was more interested in restricting the gun rights of American citizens and covering up the fact that it was an Islamofascist that carried out the shooting at the Empire State Building than confronting terror.

That's what struck me here. Rudy could have pointed out that this was another attack in the war Islamofascists were already waging on us. Instead he used it as an excuse to call for restrictions on the liberties of law-abiding Americans. That's not the behavior of someone who will be strong on the war on terror -- that's someone who will fight terror as a crime, just like the 'toon did.

"You don't care about the future of this country, just about your little pissant ego. That's what bothers me. I dislike the thought that America may be held hostage to the likes of you, big guy."

On the contrary, California Patriot. You're willing to sell out this country because you are afraid and you think Rudy will protect you.....

Fear is not often a rational motivator.
