National news media doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about the TX Panhandle and Western Kansas and Nebraska.
There's definitely rotation.
Yeah pulled from the front page and thrown to the back of the paper.
It's not New York or Miami...nobody lives in the Plains ;)
lol
LOL!!! I hope nobody flames you for that. Levity sometimes has a soothing effect.
LOL.....you are dead on!
Reports from chaser boards that the towns of Bird City, KS and Benkelman, NE (populations about 500 and 1,000, respectively) were largely destroyed by the same tornado.
OMG.
They are covering this on TWC...in their way.
It's (Twister) one of my favorite movies. I couldn't resist.
Or it can be weather in California - I've seen "HEAVY DRIZZLE WATCHES" and whatnot for California in Breaking, and left there.
I'm in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We woke to rain and fog. Shortly after, we had hail and wind. We're under a tornado watch right now and a winter storm watch. We've lived here for about 40 years. First time ever we've had a tornado watch and blizzard watch at the same time.
We're in the seventh year of drought. We'll take whatever moisture we can get, and gladly.
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- One person is confirmed dead and another critically injured in a tornado Wednesday night in Beaver County, Okla., authorities said.
The Beaver County sheriff confirmed the death KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City at about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The storm marks the first fatality tornado to hit Oklahoma in almost six years. The last tornado death in the state was recorded on April 11, 2001, in Coalgate, Okla.
Officials added that Highway 412 between Elmwood and Slapout was closed Wednesday evening because of power lines being down.

You mean by blaming the tornadoes on global warming?
TWC is covering it? Haven't watched them in years.
TWC wouldn't interrupt a documentary on the 1999 Oklahoma City Tornado to show an actual tornado hitting Oklahoma City right now.
What??
What's a "spotted tornado"? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
