I guess rich Rosie has never had to sell scrap metal. Tell her to call a scrap metal yard and ask them what is done to the scrap metal sold to them,after they sell it. Also my late father in law was a cop. He used to bring loads of confiscated guns to the Allenport steel mill in Allenport PA. to be destroyed,By being melted down!!

Obviously, Rosie has never run into any firefighter who's had to deal with steel framed buildings. Steel regularly melts and sags. That's why it has to be protected by fireproofing.

7 WTC was struck by flaming debris from 1 WTC. Several floors burst into flame, the frame sagged, and several hours later, with the frame no longer capable of supporting the floor, one of the floors collapsed onto the next one, overloading it, and resulting in a pancake collapse of the entire structure. An hour before the collapse, one of NYC fire's commanders, fighting the fire from across the street, moved all his personnel away from the 7 WTC side and went to locked-off heavy streams because it became obvious to him that a collapse was imminent.

I suppose Rosie would call him a co-conspirator.

Incidentally, can you believe I was INVITED to go to that show 3/15 by my (best?) friend! It was a gift from her neighbors for her birthday. Yes, she went, and liked it. She DID say that Hasselback ("the youngish 1") was "very genuine and nice" to the audience. As I said "big shock! the conservative!"


Anyway, when she sent out the e-mail invite, I immediately wrote back:

It would be amusing to see what would happen if one day the entire audience were conservatives just to see the reactions when there were boos when O'Donnell went off on a tirade and cheers when Hasselbeck said something reasonable. I am aware she's a conservative, but she doesn't seem armed with many facts, a highly logical mind or a sharp wit...I'm sure she's a nice person...but she's not any sort of conservative apologist.
