House Speaker Pelosi tours Jerusalem holy sites (Tax dollars for religious pilgrimages?)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi toured Jerusalem holy sites Saturday alongside a congressional delegation that included the first Muslim elected to Congress.

The tour was part of the congressional delegation's first full day in Jerusalem, the first stop on their fact-finding trip to the Middle East. The group arrived here Friday.

Flanked by security guards, Pelosi, D-Calif., and the delegation toured the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Christians believe Jesus' body was buried, in Jerusalem's Old City. They also visited the Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism, where Jews have gathered for centuries to pray.

Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison said his presence – as a Muslim – on the trip sent a message to Israelis and Palestinians that “people can come together.”

“Reconciliation is possible,” he said.

Ellison, a Minnesota congressman, said he hoped to visit the compound above the Western Wall known as the Temple Mount to Jews and the Noble Sanctuary to Muslims. The compound, the site of the biblical temples as well as the third-holiest site in Islam, is one of the main points of friction between Israel and the Palestinians in the Middle East conflict. ...

Take the traitors to task? ou can't take to task what you happen to be and agree with. Tlike having NAZI's try themselves for war crimes. You want to really beat them? The only way is to defund them. You boycott their sponsors and label them as traitorous accomplises, they will drop advertizeing. The only way it would work is if all conservatives cancel newspapers, magazines and track all advertizers in the liberal media and boycott them! Don't think it will work? Ask Air America about what happens when revenue is not generated.

He will be allowed to vist the Western Wall, but NO JEW can go to the Temple Mount, the Muslims will not allow it.

Unfortunately most Americans are so uninformed they pay little attention to advertisers even when they disagree with the opinion of the show they are watching.

 

After all, take Jay Leno for example, there are so many advertisers it would be extremely difficult to boycott them all. You would damn near have to change your whole lifestyle. While it sounds good on paper, it is just not feasible in real life. How do you ask the middle class to stop patronizing Wal-Mart? It aint gonna happen!

 

However if enough of us complained to the advertiser it might sway their opinion on who they advertise with. What we really need is a boycott of the major networks. I doubt that is feasible, given that there are still a great number of Americans that still rely on over the air broadcasting. Not everyone has satellite, DSL, or cable.

 

Perhaps we need a protest against them like we did with the "Gathering of Eagles". It will definitely take a concerted effort on our part in order to make the MSM liable for their obvious bias!

 

To tell you the truth, I don't know how these people sleep at night. It is impossible for them not to know how they are trying to influence the American thought. It goes against everything that journalism held dear for the first couple of hundred years of the history of this country. They used to be honest and forthright, they certainly have lost their way.
