No. I’m saying what I said from the beginning. Dean got the most donations but he didn’t have the most money to spend and he didn’t spend his money well. Kerry didn’t have the lead in donations but he didn’t need lots of donations early on, and he spent the money very intelligently.

Maybe you should actually read what I wrote instead of looking for sections you can edit to build insults with. My position is 100% the same throughout. Money matters, money matter first. Meanwhile you’re the one trying to claim that Kerry had a message that won out when the reality is Kerry has never had a message at all in his more than 2 decades in politics. Gain some reading comprehension and shove your insults.

Please, nowhere did I say that. Nowhere.

Dean started with NO money and only a message, and that MESSAGE carried him to the point where he had the MOST money, regardless of how you try to spin it.

Lesson: MESSAGE is very important, and MESSAGE can lead to as much money as you need.

Dean imploded because he was an angry nutcase and John Kerry was the veteran (how many other vets were in the Dem field? and Kerry was one of several who switched from pro- to anti-war to coopt the Dean message) with the perceived dignity to carry the general election banner.

Lesson: MESSENGER is very important, if you're not reasonable and don't have some threshold of credibility you'll be rejected sooner or later.

MONEY follows those things around, not the reverse.

You are a bad student. Go stand in the corner!

Dean didn’t start with no money, Dean just didn’t start with a vast personal fortune. This allowed him to pretend to be an every man and got him populist support.

Dean didn’t have the most money, Dean raised the most through donations, which is nice but the important part of money is how much you have to spend, Kerry and Edwards both had more. Maybe if Dean had raised money the way Bush did it would have been enough to make a difference, but he didn’t eclipse the Dem field by enough to outspend Kerry or Edwards.

Dean imploded because he spent his money poorly, going negative against Gephart. If Dean’s message was so great why’d he feel the need to go negative? Answer is simple: the message wasn’t that great.

Kerry’s a horid speaker, completely lifeless and incapable of exciting a crowd. Meanwhile Bush is also a horid speaker, with constant mispronunciations and stumbles. If messenger is so important how did 2004 (and 2000 for that matter) become the stiff vs the stumble? Answer: it’s not that big a deal, most of the voting public know nothing more than what they see in the commercials and with good editing (which costs money) anybody can put together a good 30 second spot.

Money leads these things around. There’s never been a teacher worth listening to that felt the need to resort to insults, shove them, hard.

Dean didn’t start with no money,

Just blatantly untrue, like a lot of other things you've said.

Kerry’s a horid speaker, completely lifeless and incapable of exciting a crowd. Meanwhile Bush is also a horid speaker, with constant mispronunciations and stumbles.

You're confusing "good speaker" or "smooth talker" with "good messenger". Bush was the optimistic, successful, non-threatening governor of a large state - a return to conservatism with a smile. Kerry was the veteran with gravitas (in the "minds" of Dem voters). As sitting VP, Gore was supposed to inherit the Clinton legacy of prosperity, something Bradley couldn't claim.

Money leads these things around.

Repeating nonsense doesn't make it true, o ye who thinks Dennis Kucinich isn't a serious candidate just because he doesn't have the cash.

Kucinich raised millions but he didn’t raise enough millions to ever be a serious candidate.

Kucinich raised millions but he didn’t raise enough millions to ever be a serious candidate.

Okay, that never gets old.... rofl...

Yawn, more insults BS and other meaningless crap. Now you’re trying to claim that Dean was poor. We’re done. Money matters in politics more than anything else, lie yourself all you want, but you’re done lying to me because I’m done your insulting crap. have a nice life sometime.

Newt has some baggage, and he is too damn smart for the American people.

I hate it when that happens.

Hopefully your man will announce soon and have his turn on Hannity and Colmes. I’ll certainly tune it to see what he has to say.
