Really what solution have they proposed? It seems to me that they just get in the way.
Screw Russia. They are not freinds of the free world. Russia will always be an obstruction to freedom.
Unfortunately, Russia can be a pretty big “obstruction” and “get in the way”, with its arsenal of ICBMs and SSBNs, we can’t just ignore them
Eventually we'll have to add Packistan as well as Iran to that list.
Would it be OK with the Russians if the US thought three times about attacking Iran? How about four times? Five?
that’s what i’m afraid of
Ok, during an air strike on Iran, let several of our bombers approach toward the Russian boundaries of Caspian Sea (I hope they will see them on the radar) just to harass them for what they have done to counter our efforts to apply sanctions on Iran. They should get our message.
they SHOULD get the message, but what if they don’t and we shoot down one of their planes or vice versa in an “accidental exchange of fire”. You just think we have problems now . . .
“Sword Point”, by Harold Coyle.
great book
I’m not a big fan of some of his more recent works though
Dito.
Maybe Russia should have worried about selling nuclear weapons technology to a buncha apocalyptic nutjobs.
Too bad, so sad.
Russia won’t nuke us. They like being alive too much.
Oh, I’m pretty sure they have no intention of nuking us. My point is if we are engaged in hostilities on their southern border, a military incident bwtn us and Russia could spiral out of control. I don’t think it would spirial that far out of control, but this scenario harks back to old Cold War scenarios.
Them and what army? :p
Russia still believes that they possess most/all of their neighbors, I see.
i guess when you lose an empire overnight reality takes a while to set in.
But from the Russian POV, the U.S. has been very active, militarily speaking, in the region since 2001. A conflict real close to their southern border, understandably, makes them nervous
Then why have they done as much as possible to aggravate the situation?
