Now "The Rest of the Story" unedited footage of Cpl Chris Mason talking about God & Iraq..... Only a part of this video was shown on CNN, here is the part that was not shown. What CNN Chose to Say About Cpl Chris Mason; Now "The Rest of the Story"
I watched all the video on your son’s site, Mr. Mason, and I simply cannot convey to you how impressed I was by Chris.
What a wonderful young man with such a beautiful smile, it sure seemed to me that Chris really knew how to enjoy life.
Thanks so much for sharing these videos with us, and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family this evening.
What a beautiful tribute page. God bless you, sir. You and yours are in my prayers and your son’s image and sacrifice will be forever engraved upon the heart of a grateful nation.
Linked on my humble abode, as of now.
God Bless.

I watched the video..... your son seems like such a solid individual.... I am sorry he left this earth so early.
May God bless you.
I thank our God that America still has men in the mold of your son. Those that give everything in the defense of our nation leave those behind seeming so petty and small. I do not merit so much as a glance from such giants. Cpl Mason and those of his stature have again deeded to all of us the priceless gift of personal and collective freedom—of continued life itself. Such grants are no different than that of being pulled from an icy pond or a burning house. Precious life and liberty restored.
“Never in our history has so much been given by so few..”
HAND SALUTE.

The Patriot
- An Old Story
I
It was roses, roses, all the way,
With myrtle mixed in my path like mad.
The house-roofs seemed to heave and sway,
The church-spires flamed, such flags they had,
A year ago on this very day!
II
The air broke into a mist with bells,
The old walls rocked with the crowds and cries.
Had I said, “Good folks, mere noise repels -
But give me your sun from yonder skies!”
They had answered, “And afterward, what else?”
III
Alack, it was I who leaped at the sun,
To give it my loving friends to keep.
Nought man could do have I left undone,
And you see my harvest, what I reap
This very day, now a year is run.
IV
There’s nobody on the house-tops now -
Just a palsied few at the windows set -
For the best of the sight is, all allow,
At the Shambles’ Gate - or, better yet,
By the very scaffold’s foot, I trow.
V
I go in the rain, and, more than needs,
A rope cuts both my wrists behind,
And I think, by the feel, my forehead bleeds,
For they fling, whoever has a mind,
Stones at me for my year’s misdeeds.
VI
Thus I entered Brescia, and thus I go!
In such triumphs, people have dropped down dead.
“Thou, paid by the World, - what dost thou owe
Me?” God might have questioned; but now instead
‘Tis God shall requite! I am safer so.
— Robert Browning
Thanks for the video and for your son’s service and sacrifice. One of the highest and briefest compliments I can think of for your son is - “He gets it”. God bless you and yours. And during this Holy Week your son’s description of the scene and the cross is most powerful, and his knowledge of the Son that soon replaced the darkness is a comfort.
Thank you for posting the rest of Chris’ story. I didn’t know him, but I think I am correct in saying he was an angel on earth as well.
