I don't recall him turning against Israel. He did have the clarity to recognize that they were acting inept and getting their butts kicked. That's not 'turning against' anybody - it's just calling things like they are.
I am a supporter of Israel but have noted many times on FR that it's not 1972 and that Israel has its problems with liberals and liberal/leftist thinking within their own borders. I said for a long while they had been relying on luck and reputation for their image as butt kickers in the region. That long month where they seemed to have no grasp as to what to do was evidence that showed I was more right than wrong. They got their butts kicked and the only ones surprised were those who had not been paying attention - in other words, some folks in conservative ranks who prefer fantasy to reality. That doesn't make me anti-Israel by any stretch. It doesn't make Savage anti-Israel either.

Maybe you should go back over the Savage thread yourself and post it here the ACTUAL number of cult-like posters you claim to have shouted down Tark for his comments against Savage. You won't come up with one that fits your wayward claim.
I would almost believe that you are actually a pro-Savage mole. You advertise him better than any of us actual 'fans' could ever do.
I listen to Levin regularly now while I prepare dinner (he comes on 6pm-8pm PST here in Las Vegas). I used to really dislike him mostly on style - I found his voice grating and his sense of humor very deficient.
When I gave him a chance he grew on me and I like him now and enjoy his show. That being said, when he shills for 'my president' in that shrill voice of his, it's just impossible to take seriously. That's rare though. Levin is a good host!
Bingo! He is all knee jerk with little examination of the issues. I think he is doing his talk show on the cheap with very little scholarship in the deeper facts. He gives a bad name to conservatives who have a deeper understanding of the issues than Savage. Savage will not give enough detail to support his argument so that the misinformed can be convinced about the truth.
For that, you should refrain from posting a pic on 3 consecutive posts.

You are taking my stuff out of context, I’m not doing the mis-information... I never said the responses themselves were cult-like. I said the folks there were cult-like, moving every which way the wind blows with Savage’s views... Even when he’s whacky and off the wall, the cult there thinks he’s “just expressing his independence”...

The one thing I disagreed with most about Savage’s show yesterday was that he imputed some great courage on the part of Pelosi for visiting the mosque and making the sign of the cross. Honestly, I didn’t think it was particularly courageous on her part in any way, and much more likely the result of inattentiveness and auto-response on her part.
Indeed, Savage insisting on keeping an open mind is wise, but he isn’t open of mind on her sign of the cross - he has decided it was a great act of courage. I think she just didn’t really think about what she was doing. Colloquially, we might even call her a ‘moron.’ ;-)
Savage is basically a conservative with a strong populist streak. Honestly, lots of folks are like that - somebody should speak for them.
Re-read the string of conversation between NY Republican and I about your tagline. He thought you came up with your most recent tagline just for this thread. I pointed out that it's not new that you've used it before and you'll use it again and that you recycle taglines.

Let's see the minimum wage, donations to Brown, support for the Pelosi visit, how much more RAT water do you think it will take for them to finally jump the Savage ship? I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you Lormand, especially if you are the one underwater. :-)
