I think it would be easier to list NY Times writers and staffers who are NOT gay. It would be a smaller list.
James Stewart was gay!!??
“Wall..wall..wall.. that scene with Donna Reed was really acting!”
List and journalists, seem to have a problem with the english language. Since when does the bastardization of the word Gay, take the place of Homosexual in the news. Must be kinda like the word “like” and the recent “went missing” bastardizations. Where in heck is the fifty top Hetero’s list?
I thought Suze Orman had simply declared she’d never slept with a man. She didn’t declare herself to be lesbian.
In any event, what a waste of good womanhood for some lucky guy. (Is that stated well enough? I was thinking of another way to put it.)
Since they’re “outing” Jodie Foster and Anderson Cooper, why didn’t they put Hillary Clinton on the list?
I must be out of touch; I’ve only heard of ten of these people.

I understand the article also takes aim at those who “skirt” around the issue or their sexuality, including Ken Mehlman.
I could care less if they are gay or not. It doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is the media and others constantly trying to force people out of the closet. It’s a very personal decision that people should make in their own time. If they never want to discuss their sexuality in public, more power to them. Let them live their lives.
Of course they leave off Tammy Bruce, probably because she is a conservative and a big supporter of the Global War on Terror.
What is that they are holding up to their chin?
How many on the list have venereal disease and how many others have they infected? What threat are they to public health? Does anybody care if they are spreading lethal VD and what is the cost to health care?
It amazes me that these writers think that anyone who doesn’t go around blaring their sexuality is somehow ashamed. I’ve never once discussed my sexuality with anyone outside of my friends and family, but that doesn’t mean I’m ashamed of who I am.
Where are Ben Dover & Phil McCracken?
Lots of Brian’s on that list. Jodie Foster has never ‘come out’ so whether she’s gay or not is for debate.
What? She's not gay. Heck, I've seen her in the act with a gu...

Oh. Different Hilton? Nevermind.
