Sean Hannity interviewed Mitt Romney on H&C tonight and asked him to word associate with the names of his competitors. At the end of the list, Sean slipped in the name Rosie O'Donnel to which Mitt responded, "Rosie Who?" They both laughed and then Mitt threw out another word "Moonbat." Great line!!

If Romney can surpass McCain and Thompson doesn’t run, things could get very interesting for his campaign...
Give him time and Mitt will be a shoe in. The guy is good, very good.
How about a Romney- Thompson ticket?
Donny Osmond will be the HUD secretary.
The whole interview was fantastic. Sean should be interesting to listen to tomorrow.
Lol I love that.
That was an impressive interview.
Sweet....
DUCK SEASON!! FIRE!!
I like him too..
Mitt is lightning fast. I can’t wait for the debates!
Just watched the interview on Hannity....Mitt was impressive.
Actually he said “moonbeam,” but I’ll give him a pass. ;)
Great interview. The more I see and hear Mitt Romney, the more I like him. I am keeping an open mind.
The more I listen to Mitt speak, the more I like him.
I’m rooting for Thompson, but as of now Mitt’s a distant second for me.
Rosie O’Donnell is yet another of a long line of Long Island ‘celebrity’ embarrassments. She isn’t funny, she isn’t even entertaining, she’s just crude and rude to the n’th degree. I have no sympathy for these self-aggrandizing idiots.
I wasn’t sure if I remembered that right. Oh well.
What did Matt ever do for MA? All I remember is his worthless ideological battles.
One of the joys of a Romney or Rudy presidency is the fact that the New York Times and the Boston Globe will be seething in anger in both cases.
I thought he said moonbat too. Oh well....
Sunbeams? To shine for him each day...
But like Bill Clinton the more he talks the more people will get to like him. If Mitt is given enough exposure he can talk himself into the nomination and the Presidency.
And probably get my vote to boot. Think of him as a Republican Bill Clinton without the morals baggage. - tom
Irrelevant.
Do not underestimate this guy's intelligence, his ability to build and run an organization, raise money and just plain rise to the occasion.
Pardon the typo, I meant “Mitt”.
He said as much during the interview. He’s not going to worry about national name recognition for now. He’s going to work hard in the primary states, win there and get name recognition that way. It worked for Bill Clinton.
That’s a great picture.
Apart from erasing the state’s deficit without raising taxes? Other than getting rid of Billy “The Corrupt Midget” Bulger? Nothing much.
‘The more I see and hear Mitt Romney, the more I like him. I am keeping an open mind.’
Me too. Attended a Rudy event today......he did good too.
He focuses on fact that after 9-11 we MUST be on the offensive. I think when more people get to hear Mitt Romney, he will be Rudy’s top challenge (that’s IF the media covers him, other than for his religion.)
Saw some of the interview but not the end. That was a good line about the moonbat Rosie. Thinking Romney is looking really good. MSM trying hard to destroy him on his religion without ever saying one word about Harry Reid also being a Mormon- disgraceful.
Uh? MA=Massachusetts.
Good point. He seems an outstanding debater in the little bit I have seen him. It doesn’t hurt either that he projects his voice very clearly and confidently.
I still like Rudy but Romney has been very impressive. The combination of his and Fred Thompson’s communication skills could make them a very formidable team on the campaign trail.
What? I think we do. 2008 is shaping up to be the personality election. Someone who toes a conservative is going to get a look from me..
Getting rid of Bulger from UMass was icing on the cake but a huge political victory over one of the most corrupt Democrats in the country.
Well let’s see :
LEGISLATION
Filed comprehensive healthcare legislation to provide private high quality, affordable health insurance to all Massachusetts citizens. Currently in a legislative conference committee.
For third year in a row, filed and signed into law a balanced, on-time budget that did not raise taxes.
Proposed and signed Melanies Law, a tough new drunk driving law that stiffened penalties on drunk drivers and closed legal loopholes that allowed repeat offenders to get behind the wheel.
Filed and signed into law the most significant expansion of military benefits in recent years. The new law reduced to zero the cost members of the Massachusetts National Guard must pay to attend public colleges and universities, increased twenty-fold the death benefit paid to families of members killed in the line of duty, created a new annuity benefit for Gold Star spouses and boosted the amount paid to Gold Star parents.
Convinced the Legislature to abolish a retroactive capital gains tax that would have unjustly forced nearly 50,000 taxpayers to pay additional taxes and fees on transactions that occurred more than three years earlier.
Filed and signed into law property tax relief for senior citizens, helping them to stay in their homes longer.
Proposed and approved a law extending death benefits to the families of volunteer and part-time public safety officers who die in the line of duty.
Signed energy legislation to soften the impact of high home heating costs on low income residents. The law also enabled income-eligible taxpayers to apply for income tax deductions for home heating costs and provided incentives for individuals and businesses to undertake upgrades that promote energy efficiency.
Successfully argued against legislation to provide tuition breaks for illegal aliens.
-He balanced the budget with no new taxes.
-He was instrumental in passing a bill abolishing a retroactive capital gains tax in the state that would have forced nearly 50,000 taxpayers to pay an additional $200 million in state taxes and fees.
-He knows how to use the veto pen.
-He vetoed the bill providing state funding for human embryonic stem cell research
- He vetoed a bill that provided for the "morning after pill" without a prescription because it is an abortifacient and would have been available to minors without parental notification and consent
- He vetoed legislation which would have redefined Massachusetts longstanding definition of the beginning of human life from fertilization to implantation
- He supported parental notification laws and opposed efforts to weaken parental involvement
- He fought to promote abstinence education in public school classrooms with a program offered by faith-based Boston group Healthy Futures to middle school students.
-Mitt Romney opposed a bill that would have allowed illegal aliens to get drivers licenses.
- Romney vetoed a bill in 2004 that would have given illegal aliens the right to in-state tuition at public universities.
More things he did in Mass here.
He did pretty well in a true blue state.
Oh! Your post reminded me...during the interview, Mitt said he would either cut or get rid of the capital gains tax! We’ll have to post the video to the interview when it’s available.
2005 is history, what about 2007? Our unemployment is above the national average for the first time in decades and high tech and financial services are fleeing to NC and CA.
