Bafflegab is lamebrain's Giuliani's specialty. He is incapable of making a straight-on policy statement. Take a gander at this Rudyism:

Quoting Rudy Giuliani: “A strict constructionist judge can come to either conclusion about Roe against Wade,” he said. “They can look at it and say, ‘Wrongly decided thirty years ago, whatever it is, we’ll over turn it.’ [Or] they can look at it and say, ‘It has been the law for this period of time, therefore we are going to respect the precedent.’ Conservatives can come to that conclusion as well. I would leave it up to them. I would not have a litmus test on that.”

Two-faced Rudy tries to have it both ways. He talks out of one side of his mouth to co-opt conservatives into thinking he's with them. The next day Rudy retracts or backtracks the self-same statement (he doesn't dare offend liberals waiting in the wings to get their grubby hands on the US government).

Rudy's Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde act is getting tiresome.

The guy is an embarrassment, he is nothing more than our version of Howard Dean.

Got a link for that quote? It OBLITERATES the assurances of Rudy boosters to pro-lifers that Rudy would appoint strict constructionist judges that would overturn Roe.

As of now, over a year away from the nomination, he IS the most likely Republican nominee. I would vote for him for president if he is, over ANY of the other Demodog contenders.

I WON’T vote for him in the primary, though.

Let it be known that I (and a whole lot of Republicans like me) will not vote for him PERIOD. If that means that a democrat gets the white house for 4 years, then so be it. I can live with that. I lived with it for 8 years under Bill Clinton, I can live another 4 years under Mrs. Clinton.

But let it be known that I cannot in good conscience cast a vote for someone who has the unrepentant moral positions that Giuliani has taken.

This is the hill I have chosen to die on. We either win the primary battle by preventing Giuliani from taking control of the Republican party, or we die trying. I will not cast a vote for him next November. I will either write in a candidate or vote for a third party candidate who shares my most deeply held beliefs.

Spread the word.

The Democrat Congress is really working out great for you, isn’t it?

Kumbaya, and all that.

“Conservatives” who stay home are infantile.

You obviously didn't read his post, doc. He said he'd write-in or that he'd vote 3rd party.

There is no one who is a true conservative who can vote for killing babies. Life is not an "issue." It is the ultimate RIGHT from which all other rights flow.

I, too, will not vote for a supporter of murder to lead my nation. There is no way that I can in good conscience cross such a moral barrier.

The democrats won congress because the Republicans lost sight of their principles and became democrats themselves. They refused to do anything about the borders, they spent tax money like drunken sailors and they completely reversed the Contract with America.

If Republicans show that they have backbone and are willing to sacrifice their seats if necessary to stand upon principle, then the American people will flock to their side. True Americans desipse duplicity and weakness. The Republicans deserved to lose Congress. If they present to the nation duplicitous moral degenerate like Giuliani as their standard bearer, then they deserve to lose the presidency.

I won’t, either.

We’re not alone.

I wish he would withdraw. At this point, Obama is a more likely Democrat nominee than Hillary.

Past time to move on

How exactly do you "move on" from the killing of innocent children for the sake of convenience?

What kind of issues matter more than legalized mass murder?

There was a time the exact opposite was true. One vote on the supreme court changed that. One vote can can change it back That’s why it is imperative that we get a president that will nominate and get confirmed conservative judges. Rudy says he will, but, will he? Abortion isn’t the only principle Rudy’s on the wrong side of gun control, gay rights or others. How many do we ignore to put a round peg in a square hole.

And that is, more or less, that. There are also elections for Congress and various State offices, on which I'll be voting. Refusing to vote for the reprehensible former mayor of New York has nothing to do with "staying home".
