Immigration authorities said Wednesday the man arrested on suspicion of causing the drunken head-on crash on Sunset Blvd. that killed movie director Robert Clark was in the United States illegally.
Clark's 22-year-old son Ariel was also killed in the wreck.
Hector Velazquez-Nava was booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and was being held on $100,000 bail.
Police said he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and was driving without a driver license.
Velazquez-Nava is a Mexican national with no record of previous deportations, said Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Virginia Kice.

I hope the illegal beaner gets at least the same justice that two border guards got.
Killing the movie directors Americans won’t kill...
Guess he wasn't all bad
Murder in the First Degree with extreme indifference, IMHO.
Just send a copy of this to the White House. As if anyone there cares...
Did anyone not see this one coming?
One of the greatest movies of all time. This totally bites.
... huh...
i would have expected he got shot with a Red Ryder BB Gun ..
oh well
Too funny! Maybe we should help more illegals move the LA area and they can wipe out the rest of the bad movie directors.
Find who ever gave him a job in this country, and charge them as accessories.
Charge them as a company, and as individuals.
Why can’t the People of the U.S. sue the Federal Government for violating the constitution?
He’s was not a great film artist or anything but he did make a couple of enduring classics. Do you want to wipe out their kids too like this case?
You’ve been here long enough to understand why changing headlines is a no-no.
And when are they going to end this occupation?
Mexico is an imperialistic nation.
This illegal immigration stuff is all fun and games until somebody loses an eye...
Guilty!
This could be the spark that changes a few minds.
Of course when the little people are killed this way, it doesn't seem to affect government policy.
He had’nt been arrested and charged 6 times yet.....
Bob Clark was always something of a fringe figure and hadn’t had a hit film in a very long time. Still anything that helps rectify the lunacy on the border...
I'm more surprised someone came out and admitted it.
Clearly Bush’s fault.
I was being scarcastic, it is really sad that this is happening, but Hollywood doesn’t care when it is we little people. But let some of their own take the ride and see what happens.
Like I said this guy was a fringe figure. Big Hollywood players don’t drive 1997 Infinitys.
APf
If only illegals could get licenses none of this would have happened.
How many more will have to die? My mother was in the hospital for over 2 months due to a piece of excrement like this. Jorge Bush, you out there? You listening? These are real people dying out here. More than were killed on 9/11. You are derelict in your duty, along with 90% of the rest of the politicians in this formerly great country. I hope you all pay for it one day and I hope you drink the bitter dregs of what you have sown to the very last drop.
Supposedely people whom are more Amerind, are prone to alcholism in comparison to those whom have been drinking it for centuries. Not sure if that’s true....
No problemo. He qualifies for a double amnesty.
This is the second in a week. the other was the two teen age girls.
The father and sister were on O’Reilly last night.
The perp should be tied town, and all the Bumpuses Hounds should tear him up limb from limb.
I don’t think it’s funny at all.
Seriously- the only reason New York (or anyplace else) ever got “cleaned up” was because one too many lawyers, judges, or politicians were mugged and murdered in the street.
In what way is the Federal Government violating the constitution in regard to immigration?
I’ve been watching that sad story too.
I hope she can eventually find some peace from the torment that she's going to be living with for many years to come.
Aww..you are just giving Horhe a hard time.
dang it ya beat me to the post....How ‘bout, “Just killing fathers and sons that Americans aren’t willing to kill.”.....
I have almost been hit a few times by other cars as they swirve to miss illegals standing in the street begging for jobs. I went to the sheriffs office today and asked when they are going to do something about the loitering on Vallejo St. The sheriff told me that their hands are tied and they can’t do anything about the Mexicans disrupting traffic. I asked him if they are enforcing US laws or not. Loitering is loitering and disrupting traffic is disrupting traffic. He told me to contact Immigration. Our government and law enforcment have turned into a bunch of limp wristed cowards.
Ping!
He should have waited to kill these people until after congress gives him amnesty.
Didn’t he do Porky’s ? That was a funny movie!
That's how "Jorge" is pronounced.
For all of the people on this thread who somehow find some humor in all of this, keep on laughing. One of these days it will be you, your wife, or your kid who's killed or seriously injured by one of these Mexican slimes. We'll see who's laughing then.
ping
It won't matter until a senior politician gets killed.
Yes he did. And the highly influential Canadian horror movie ‘Black Christmas’.
And just a couple days before that it was a middle aged woman and her daughter who was five months pregnant, all killed by an illegal who was repeatedly convicted for DWI but never deported.
Just as was reported a month or so ago, the illegals are killing more Americans here at home than are being killed in combat operations worldwide.
Hello George Bush, it's time to wake up and secure our borders!
Believe me I am not laughing. I am as disappointed/frustrated with the President’s immigration policy as you are. Living in Arizona I know the problem only too well.
The Constitution tasks the federal government with defending and protecting the United States.
Illegals are killing more Americans here at home than are being killed in combat operations worldwide. It would seem that Bush & Co. are neglecting their constitutional duties.
