I watched a piece on Greek Mythology the other day. It’s remarkably creepy and picks little pieces of Christianity to mock. What amazed/amused me was it was said that archaeologists are frantically searching for evidence to prove the existence of things that were written about ancient Greece. Yet these are the same group of "enlightened" people who are searching for ways to disprove Judaism and Christianity

This is nothing new. They specifically wait for the Christmas or Easter season to broadcast their hit pieces. In fact, CNN is still running theirs.

Until the Christians turn vicious and cut a few heads, this will continue to happen, year after year. I’m not advocating that, of course! I’m just stating, that’s why the Muslims have appeasers and the Christians don’t. That’s why the media attacks Christianity relentlessly, and why they don’t dare attack Islam.

It’s ridiculous, but since the war is already won, all that Satan has left is a battle of attrition.

Regarding the gnostics, they try to cloak them in the “legitimate” label. Of course they may be legitimate in their existence, but that doesn’t make them legitimate in truth. I could write a gospel according to me and it would be a legitimate work of my time, but doesn’t make it so regarding the truth.

But then again, as others have said, they believe us to be inferior in intelligence and think we won’t understand the difference.

Too bad I don't receive any of these fine fish wraps. Missed those TV specials too. Oh well.

My kids got a good dose of "Charlotte's Web" and "St. Francis of Assisi" on DVD, Easter weekend.

Yeah - but just wait until Ramadan - this year we'll see:

The History Channel will question whether the Koran is God’s genuine revelation to mankind.

Newsweek will tease readers with the headline “Is Allah Real?,” and features a debate between a prominent Imam and an outspoken atheist. National Public Radio also carried an atheist/Muslim debate.

A Ramadan New York Times article dismisses the story of Mohammad's blessings as a “myth.”

Newsweek’s Ramadan cover story, “The Child Bride,” showcases instances in the Koran that get little to no attenion - including the children who married Mohammed.

The arts world has mocked Mohammed with a life-sized, nude, anatomically correct sculpture made of chocolate, reducing Him to the level of the Easter Bunny.

The Discovery Channel took the prize. Discovery aired a documentary, “The Lost Tomb of Mohammed,” that claims to have disproved the foundational belief of Muslims: claiming that Mohammed was actually Jewish.

I won't hold my breath because if any one of the above ever happened there would be blood in the streets. Obviously, some types of diversity are more equal than others.

The proclimation that “God is Dead” goes back to 1964 in Time Magazine.

April 8, 1966, to be exact.

The cover appeared in an opening scene in the film "Rosemary's Baby," of which Roman Polanski was the director. He was also the husband of Sharon Tate.

It's not hard to see the hand of the devil in all of this.

The Devil shows up at this time every year to deny the divinity of Jesus. He has been doing it ever since His crucifixion and resurrection in 33AD.

So, what else is new?

I was kinda shocked to see one of the networks list The Greatest Story Ever Told as an historical drama. Pleasantly shocked, of course, but shocked nonetheless.

The intensifying cultural attacks on Christianity are reminiscent of the kind of seething resentment of the damned who have been permanently separated from God. It almost bears the quality of a world that all-too certainly understands that God exists and hates Him because they cannot have any power over Him.

I wish I weren’t so cynical, but a good chunk of society appears to be reprobate. At some point, the fullness of the Gentiles will be met and the most fruitful course of action will be to strengthen those who believe and leave the rest to the fate they’ve chosen. I mean, at some point, the door of the ark was closed. I don’t necessarily mean at the micro-evangelical level - we can’t stop fishing for men - but in terms of reversing the general trend towards secular atheism, it would patently naive to think this is going to change. i.e., circle the wagons.
