If Hagel and Smith had voted with their PARTY..and McCain and Graham shown up...they would have had 50 votes, right??
They would have won, right??
IOW..this didn’t HAVE to be a DEM win in the Senate.
Who-hooooo..I needed that.
Though I wonder if Hellary will be using her southern or northeastern voice tonight?
Let me see....the debate is in South Carolina..SOUTH Carolina...and she will be fighting for votes with OBAMA...so, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear her slip a few “ya’lls” into her speech....hehehe
If Hagel and Smith would have been voting with us, Graham and McCain would hav shown up. And yes, we would have won.
GRRRRRRRR that just chaps my hide!!
This could have been a WIN for the GOP!! and OUR TROOPS!
Landrieu voted for it..surprise?
You know what is even worse...the Dem operatives will be able to say that the bill wouldn’t have passed except it was BI-partisan against Bush.
I just saw a picture of the Reid-Pelosi presser...and it makes me wanna PUKE...knowing that the GOP COULD have kept that press conference from even happening.
Are you listening to this idiot congressmen on Cavutos show
He WON’T back up Reid and say the war is lost and dodges Neil when he directly asked him again
Then the idiot says the iraqis aren’t doing enough
Neil says .. Congressmen .. they are losing 100 people a day .. isn’t that enough
And this moron congressmen says .. THEY NEED TO DO MORE
They really need to throw out their talking points
So TWO republicans is now bi-partisan???
Do they even listen to themselves?
I can just imagine the NPR story...
LOL...in Dem propaganda...I think 2 GOP senators voting with them signifies the WHOLE party as being like them.
Remember, in his speech before the vote..Harry actually said that “MANY” Senators from the other side WOULD have voted with them...but they can’t “right now”.
Apparently not .. they are too busy repeating the talking points
Okay...I am confused...on the main page at C-span it says they are showing tonight’s DNC debate.
BUT, when I go to the schedule page, I don’t see it listed.
I can’t say for sure then if they are going to have it..
LOLOLOL...I have to tell you though...I turned to MSNBC, and they have ALL black people behind Tucker Carlson..and in one hand they are holding OBAMA signs..and in the other, they are holding signs that say MSNBC!!!
I checked it out.
It’s a circus. Edward’s has a campaign manager who is nicknamed “Mudcat”.
Did you read yesterday that Sen. Mikulski is going to be a co-chairman of Hillary’s campaign???
Her wattle under her neck will entertain the dem troops..
Headed out for the afternoon.
Just read Lieberman’s speech — Wow!
I’ll be back to read your play-by-play this evening. Thanks. :-)
Remember, they are playing right into Rove’s hands. And Tony will be back next week to exploit that. :-D

Everyone else has already linked it, but for the benefit of any readers we might have who dont read other right-wing blogs, here you go. Alternate headline: Media outraged at military for not doing more to prevent medias awful journalism.
Great work by Ray Robison, although I wouldnt go so far as to accuse them of inventing the source. Theyve been taking dictation from leakers with agendas for years now, occasionally with tragicomic results. Why should it be any different in this case? The only unusual thing here is that the leaker was pro-war, not anti.
Media Lynch Mob
By Ray Robison
lol...I am surprised
Thanks for the pings..Mo1.
I am watching this Debate....and I have to say...that afterwatching for 30 minutes I am LESS afraid than I was before about the dems winning.
The answers I have heard so far...are ridiculous to say the least.!!
THAT puts me in a good mood.
“They want to get Rove to do what Gonzo did today...and then Cheney, and then Bush.”
You are spot on.
“In the meantime, we get to watch the Senate grow the government some more”
It’s what they do, and they’ll blame the bush administration for the future tax increases, round and round we go ;)
