Kosovo debate reaches U.S. Senate
WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Senate will this week start discussions "over a Kosovo status resolution.

The draft resolution, submitted by senators Joseph Lieberman, Joseph Biden, John McCain and Gordon Smith, backs UN special envoy Martti Ahtisaari’s proposal, stating that a supervised independence would be the only possible solution to the province’s status.
The resolution also urges President George Bush to increase U.S. pressure in the UN Security Council in order to have Kosovo declared an independent state, “without redrawing borders.”
The senators also advocate swift establishment of diplomatic ties with Kosovo after its independence, warning however that Priština must approach fulfillment of democratic standards “seriously“, as well as provide security for the Serbs in the province.
Obrad Kesić, a political analyst based in Washington, told B92 the Albanian lobby has already managed to influence the Senate, and confirmed the resolution was ready. Kesić also stressed the senators behind the document, Lieberman in particular, were the leading figures in the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.
“I expect a difficult debate on the subject after the holidays. It is hard to predict whether the resolution will pass,” Kesić said, adding that Senate resolutions were not legally binding and therefore had no direct influence on U.S. foreign policy.

Shouts Can Still be Heard: Crucify, Crucify the Serbian People! We cannot go without mentioning this Pascha the Golgotha and Great Friday of our Kosovo and Metohija; and the darkened conscience of all those who give themselves the right, trampling upon the world’s legal order, to cold-bloodedly pass sentence not only on imposed changes in the status of Kosovo and Metohija, but upon our whole history and culture, and the sovereignty of Serbia! In Kosovo and Metohija the Golgotha of the Serbian people has been taking place for centuries. This is seen by all and known by all except by those who are blind to seeing the truth and deaf for hearing justice. We hear “blacksmiths” speedily forging new nails and new spears with the intention to repeat and prolong the Golgotha of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. All this they do with the ‘blessing’ of those who swear upon justice, freedom, and democracy, but only for themselves! However, we still believe in the conscience of objective mankind, which was recently confirmed by the international Tribunal of Justice in the Hague. Even though the highest Court of justice decided this after having reviewed all the documents for and against, the shouts can still be heard: crucify, crucify the Serbian people!
We Cannot Give Up, We Cannot Fear But we, dear spiritual children, cannot give up, cannot fear, because of injustice. Rather, let us commend our whole life to Christ our God! Christ did not commit sin, nor was there deceit in His mouth, and yet He was condemned and crucified. But, He also gloriously resurrected. If, God forbid, the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija undergo one more crucifixion, more terrible than the others, let us remain with Christ: do not slander, do not think evil; rather let us pray, and from the Cross let us witness to God’s love for all and everybody. Let us witness to Christ, the Victor over death, sin and all injustice. Those who do evil to others, do even worse to themselves. Sooner or later, if they do not repent, they will weep bitterly.
Celebrating the Resurrection of Christ with all the world’s Christians, today we rejoice and are glad with them and with all of God’s creation, and joyously exclaim to one and all:

I don't know anything about Gordon Smith. But Joseph Lieberman, Joseph Biden, and John McCain are charter members of the Senate's Serbophobic rogue's gallery!!!! They are a SHAME on all of us!!!!
However, now something new has been added. The stealth Presidential candidate, Barak "Osama" Hussein Obama, is a good pal of Lieberman, and associated with the Democratic Leadership Council. The DLC is the American branch of the Third Way "liberal" arm of the New World Order.

There is a good news hidden in this repport.Mitch McConnel used to be a mouthpiece of Albanian narcoterrorist cartel. Now he is out from this rogue gallery.

Yeah, those “ethnics” that moved in by the thousands and had a gazillion babies in the last few years while the Serbs were forced to move out of their own country. Whatever you say, chief. If you live in S. Texas, be ready for when those “ethnics” take over. Having 7 kids per family and moving your population to another, better off country, until you outnumber the local population does not constitute making that land yours. Period. If Kosovo is given to Albania, it will create a huge precedent. Muslims will know they can do this anywhere. It will not stop at Kosovo, I assure you.
