Newt never was on my list.
A few months ago Newt was shopping himself around as a non-aspirant who would be "above the fray" and able to provide the sort of cover fire that the Republicans (independent of candidate) desperately needs. I remember being excited to see him cast in this roll because there aren"t any dhimmis who can beat him in an argument.
Now it looks like the Newt has turned into a toad. I no longer understand what his agenda is (unless it is slash & burn politics against his fellow Republicans in order to somehow position himself as a presidential candidate), but whatever his agenda is, it is turning off those who once represented his base.
Newt - croak off!

Agree 100%. I would only reconsider him if it came down to two global warming religionists and I had to pick the one who would do the least damage.
