Islamofascists and Eastern Orthodox types seem to get along with each other, especially if Communism or authoritarianism is driving both of them. That is the case for Russia.
There are many right wing students, and they respect the right of free speech, so they don’t disrupt the idiots when they meet to support Palestinians or stop the war in Iraq.
But liberals will mob and attack those on the right when they try to organize anything. During the presidential election, a TV conglomerate wanted to air a movie “Stolen Valor” which was negative about Kerry. Their advertisers emails were published by the left wingers and a massive internet attack ensued, forcing the cable channels to withdraw the movie.

Well, I have a little bit leftist american professor promoting my thesis (I don’t know how american university graduating looks like but I guess it’s a bit similar to this in Europe) and he always allows me to speak my mind, even if we have different opinions (usually we have), I get good marks, cause I work my hands to the bone. Truly, I doubt that he just gives me good marks to get rid of me:) He seems to be very strict when “general rules towards freedom of speech” are considered.
Maybe I was just lucky to meet him.
Or maybe he will just screw me over when final exam comes.
