Overall, UTSA is pretty conservative. The truth is that Hispanics are a minority and most of the ones in my classes are conservative. They probably had to get every single lib on campus and a bunch from off campus to put this crap together.

Frankly, I've had the flu the last few days and I missed it. I didn't miss much.

Last semester I had a student who told me he was a Mexicano. When I asked him where he was born he told me Oshkosh or St. Louis or somewhere up north. I told him that he was as much a Mexican as I am a leprechaun and that he was an American who needed to get over himself. What really pissed him off was when the Mexican citizens in class stared laughing at him.

I never saw him much after that.
