It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
It was just announced that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have been replaced immediately by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
This was due the national disgrace of the NHH incident that occurred under 'their watch'.
Stay tuned for the time that the inauguration shown exclusively on BET.
Bet we see him on Sirius/XM soon enough.
In a way it is kind of poetic justice; the same Newsweek type liberals he has been pandering to on his show are the ones that got him fired.
Guys like Fineman, Alter, Craig Crawford etc. will have to find another sucker to let them blather away.

I couldn’t see any scenario where the Imus in the morning show could have survived in it’s present form.
I used to tune in for the media talking heads and pols. You could usually count on a headsup on the days talking points.
There is no way any of them would go on the show now that it is radioactive. Without the interviews you are left with a geriatric Howard Stern.
